    I am at a loss....
New truck. TRD PRO. Came with tri-fold tonne. Came with predator rails.
I have an Opus OP2 camp trailer coming. I carry two kayaks or two bikes on occasion.
Looking to Overland starting in the spring.
Truck is my DD. Put on 34's. Ordered real rock sliders.
I cannot decide how to set it up? Sell tonne and get a roof rack? Deck system? Leave as is and get storage boxes to keep anything in the bed from moving around? How much do I need to carry with a trailer handling the brunt of the gear?
I still want to be capable of taking the truck offroad by itself, but not load down the trailer too much...
Anyone been through this and what worked for you?
    TIA!

After-thought... 34 spare fits underneath. Would it be better on a rack to help with clearance but below the roof line for less wind resistance? Or NBD underneath?

Keep it simple. Leave the spare under the bed. It doesn’t affect clearance.

Does anyone have the expedition one dual swing bumper? Wondering if there is a lower cost one on the market

About a month ago already (wow) we were down in New Brunswick, Canada along the Bay of Fundy and had the entire beach area along the shore all to our selves. Just the 4 of us in our little tribe. It was amazing.

I'll share a few other stops from this trip over the next bit.

I have the victory rear dual swing out with high clearance hitch. Very well built and better price than expedition one

I also run their rear with dual swings and I'd concur on well built and has held up on a few abusive trips this past season.

Received and did a test install in my driveway of a Cascadia Vehicle Tents Awning Mesh Room for my CVT 79" Hybrid Awning. Perfect for keeping away the 'skeeters and no-see-ums when sitting by the beach or campsite.

Trip to Coyote Flat last week! RTTs first time in the snow, and first time needing the rainfly. We learned that we need to move our RTT a little over to the driver's side so we can prop up the fly on the passenger's side - as you can see, we couldn't get the tension rods into the holes because the gear on our rack was in the way haha. Also, in case you were wondering, there's nothing wrong with our tire, that's just the spare - we carry it in the bed right now because we are still waiting on our swing out bumper.

We used the winter liner on this trip. At the coldest, outside temp. was 29 degrees, without the liner the inside was about 45 degrees, and with the liner the inside was 59 degrees! It was 83 degrees inside our 20 degree sleeping bag under the blanket :bananadead: Toasty! Only downfall to the liner is getting to the storage pockets in the tent.

Finally got the fireplace installed in our 6x12 enclosed trailer, doggo seemed pleased. Will post again with some temp. Differential numbers like @GTundraX did. Good job on that, I appreciate when people give some real world info!

With the winter liner does it fold within, or safe assumption the extra thickness means it needs to be removed in the morning?

We were able to fold it up with the liner inside and the rain fly installed. I actually installed it prior to our trip so I wouldn't have to deal with it in the snow.

I've been looking at that Coleman oven - seems fairly impressive to open up the meal selection out on the camp spots.

Easy to pack and bring along you'd say?

Very! It folds down to 3.5” thick. It can store very easily.
