We headed out to traverse the Swisha Loop, in Quebec Canada. A trail that would prove an endurance run for truck and drivers.

While on the route, we encountered a fresh washout, some heavy storm damage, gorgeous moments of landscape and plenty of bugs.

We hope you enjoy this brief teaser and return in a couple weeks when we launch our video!

Finally finished my build and got to try it out. Need to address a few things, but overall I'm really happy with it. Especially considering my limited wood-working experience. Can be completely removed in just a few minutes. 20200608_180214.jpg 20200608_180357.jpg 20200608_180430.jpg 20200716_104441.jpg

I was thinking exactly that, but the Waterport is backordered, and I don't see the 23 Zero shower enclosure on their site. Did I just miss it?

That would be the next thing to figure out, because it looks like I wont have my roof rack in time for the next trip.

Yeah weird I don’t see it either. Give Justin a call there he’ll shoot you straight he’s a good dude.
I like my water port no issues and holds pressure for a long time. The shower and enclosure is honestly for the wife I use shower pouches on shorter trips.

It just needs some gravity assistance (even if it’s pressurized) you could put it on your bed rack problem solved. Just don’t pull it off lol!

I really want a water port for showering and rinsing, I've heard good things! Might just settle for a shower bag for this trip to get by. Either that or a bunch of Dude Wipes

If I can get one in time I'll give that a shot!

Lol as much as I tell people “it’s for the wife” there hasn’t been a time we opened the shower enclosure that I didn’t use it too. And damn was it glorious.
Pro tip: add a boiling jet boil (or two depending on temp) to a full container to make it warmer if it is a bit chilly outside. (Do I need a PSA about not making it too hot? Yeah... proceed with caution and if you burn yourself I warned you)

Also watch the first spray if you’ve had the hose on for a while it will be really hot.

I made one from a two gallon home depot pump sprayer after seeing the idea on YouTube.

Took the two gallon sprayer, removed the wand and extended the hose with 3/8" id tubing via a brass barb to barb connector. Then with a brass barb to male garden hose thread adapter connected the end to a garden sprayer. Fill with water, set out in the sun to warm. You could heat the water in a coffee maker etc... pump up to build pressure then shower away.

Last weekend my son and I both showered with less than two gallons of water total. About $40 invested.

Also check out expedition portal for shower solutions for your next trip. They have cool, cheap solutions until you get the water port.

    Yup, this right here. ^^^^

I use one in the boat and truck. I have a cheap sink sprayer attached to mine. Works great for rinsing dishes too.

    Even the Mrs loves it.

    Very nice.

My design is somewhat similar, but you took yours to an entirely different level.

I just returned from a 4 week road trip with mine, fly fishing my way from California to Idaho and then Montana, and I was very comfortable with my setup.

When I do early spring and late fall trips I have a propane space heater and I stay pretty warm.

I like that yours has the option to access the drawers from the inside. I can't access my main drawer without going outside.

While the shelf in mine running the width of my truck took some getting used to when sleeping, I figure it saves me from having to have a roof rack.

    Anyway, yours is great.

Nice build! Hope to take mine on a trip like that at some point! Have only camped in my truck for short trips, and only once so far with the build out. I use a lil buddy propane heater on cooler nights as well, but feel like I'll need more insulation if I plan on camping in the winter. I don't sleep with the heater on, and it looses heat pretty quick once it's off.

Unfortunately I can't access my main drawer from inside like you mentioned. There are removable panels for the spaces over and behind the wheel well though. I have removable shelves inside the cubbies to access the other side as well.

It’s just a gimmick, they are unfortunately just overpriced baby wipes but slightly larger :(
