Just got finished with my new portable battery box for my new Lowrance. This way I can switch it between my two small boats. It even works great for off road mapping. Eventually I'll probably buy a second mount for in the truck. I also equip the battery box with lights, USB charging port, 12v power port, charging / solar panel port, voltmeter, air temperature, and battery level indicator. The battery box is nice and portable for the small boats but also great just to have in Camp as a lantern / phone charger.

700 miles of mostly dirt roads ranging from "breezy" to "pucker up, buttercup!"

Hit Goblin Valley, Capitol Reef, Caineville Wash, and San Rafael Swell.

Some of the roads north of Cathedral Valley are pretty soggy still.

Took our travel trailer out for the second time. Tundra did its job well, averaged 8.8mpg with a/c cranked and several hills.

    Durania,

What is the weight of that trailer? We are looking to get one, but rented one a week ago that was 7000 lbs. Got about 7-8 mpg on flat terrain.

Just realized we have an Overland camping thread, so this is a repost.

Still patiently waiting to take delivery on our fully optioned (Adventure pkg) 2019 Intech Flyer Pursue. Dealer says it looks like it will arrive the end of this month. It’s in the build cue and we have a Vin#.
    https://www.intechrv.com/pursue.php
Ordered the Silver Moon exterior color Pursue with the tan interior color which should be a fairly decent match to our Silver Sky Tundra. We also added a second 270 degree Batwing awning to our order. Pretty stoked! Our June/July Blueberry season is coming in soon, we have a lot of picking to do in our grove so no big hurry.

Nice high clearance for National Forest roads here in the Blue Ridge Mtns. 45 degree down axle gives right amount of clearance.

Second day was OK. Gray skies with some rain. Third day was mostly rain. I wanted to leave a day early to avoid it but kids didn't want to leave. So we stayed and braved the cold and rainy weather. Oh, well.

    Looks gorgeous!
We've had ourselves a little too much rain as well.

Kinda puts a damper on things but you make the most of it!

Free range camping a few weekends ago near Calgary. Not a horse person but seeing them living wild is pretty special.

We're tucked off to the side in this photo, but we had the lake to ourselves a couple weeks backs as it was the day after a big down pour.
    Was worth showing up!

    Looks great!

I just bought a trailer as well, though yours is decidedly fancier..

    IMG_20190723_204303_710.jpg

I will be moving the RTT to mine, installing solar and a couple deep cycle batteries, adding a fridge and probably building a simple kitchen.

I've only had it for 2 days so I haven't had an opportunity to take it into the middle of nowhere yet, but testing on some 4 wheeler trails close to home was very promising and I expect we'll have no problems pulling it over pretty rough terrain.

Took the kids and missus way up high in the Uintas for the weekend. Caught and ate some tiger and rainbow trout. My freshly-detailed 4runner looks like a shitbox again. =D

The whole way home my 2-year-old daughter kept saying "I want to go camping" and "I want to go fishing." I'm so proud. =]

Went on our first camping adventure as a family. Everything went well except the ice/food in the cooler ruined some food. This got the wife leaning towards an upgrade to a fridge! I am trying to start simple and relatively stock with my build. I am stock height with 275/70/18 tires on my 2019. I have big plans but the move I just made was upgrading to a Northstar battery. Any recommendations on fridge and wiring kit for an always on 12v outlet are welcome. I am planning to keep fridge in rear driver side of crewmax right now. I am considering a custom "plate and delete" for the rear drivers side. Would like to carry enough food and beverage for 4 days, 2 adults and a toddler.

Took a trip to PINS (Padre Island National Seashore) last month. Once of may favorite places and I try to go 4-6 times a year. There is 60 miles of undeveloped gulf front beach open for driving, camping, and fishing. If you go far enough down the beach you can be alone with no one for miles in either direction. Hoping to get spending approval for racks and a RTT but my wife thinks my son's college tuition is more important so for now I sleep in my tent cot which isn't bad. I have a portable grill, camp stove etc. for cooking and have a WaterPort mounted to the bed rail for pressurized water for showers etc.
