    It’s getting realistic now

A 3 bedroom house has effectively been reduced to a 6x12 efficiency....

Don't know how I missed this thread over the last week, so sorry to be so late in responding.
Did you find a job yet? Where you moving back to?

I've been kicking around the idea of having a meet in GA soon, sometime after the pollen and before its balls hot....which typically means we'd have two days!:rofl:

I’m totally down for a GA meet. I don’t know how long I’ll be around but I’m headed to my parents house on Lake Sinclair (Milledgeville) for a couple/few weeks and have not committed to a job yet. I’m thinking I’ll end up either in Asheville, NC, or closer to my aging parents in the metro area. I’d be down for trying to put something together in a few weeks, location depending.
I’ve already been poking @Tomcat to warn him to be ready
@louscrw i know you’re in the Warner Robbins area. How about you @GAknight ?

I'm in the Conyers/Covington area, so you'll go right past me (most likely) on your way to Milledgeville.
We can certainly look out for something in a few weeks. I've got some commitments out of town the next two weeks, but we could look at something in May for sure!

Good luck with the move and welcome back to the East coast. If you end up in Asheville we'll need a meet out that way, so much open space and so many forest roads. Look up the Smokey Mountain 500/1000 loop when you have a chance.

I’m very familiar. I went to college in Brevard/Asheville, spent 2 years in Charleston, and moved to CO from Hilton Head. I know the Carolinas pretty damn well. I used to work for NOLS all around the Pisgah Nat’l Forest, kayaked every decent river, and climbed a bunch of the rocks. I’m looking forward to coming home. It’s been a long time coming

I am over around the ft. Bragg area if anyone is up for a meet and greet. I would even be willing to meet over that way if someone wants to put it together.

    RTP?

I’ve been field managing telecom nonsense but ready to make a change, continue with, or totally shift gears. Not to sound like an online dating avatar but I’m about as reliable as they come, super sharp minded, and willing to show up to work even on my heaviest menstruation days ......... :anonymous:

But really, my abilities are vast, dedication intense, and the rapport I build with employees or clients cannot be trumped. I can do anything, and really have, but am looking to change life up a bit....whatcha got that might fit??

I have a degree, but I have a lot of experience with great references too! I’ll check it out, and in the meantime I’m calling in any favors I can muster. I’m an honest, stand by my word kinda guy. If I need to repay a favor then I overdo it under normal circumstances. Your referrals wouldn’t go unreciprocated if you found me an avenue

Thanks for the clarification too  I live that area!!

I'm pretty sure there's several GA members on the forum now.
For a group/state meet, it may be best we just start a thread to gauge some interest and ideas for best dates/times.
To @Tomcat comment - Later on in May or even early June would be fine with me. In truth, it's probably best to have more time, for more people to plan.

@Almaboy - We can certainly meet beforehand to shake hands, especially if/when you're passing through next week.
