Gotchya! I’ve seen posts, and for sure correct.
Is he no longer a Tundra/member or just busy with life?

I feel like I can chime in here.... .I grew up in a small town in Montana.... moved to CA for work in tech as an engineer, and am now moving to CO. I don't have the hate for CA like some, but honestly, most the people who say "it's not so bad" usually are from here originally.

I grew up in the country where you couldn't find someone if you tried, carrying a firearm was expected, and you didn't feel like everyone was trying to screw you over. My experience in the bay has been exactly the opposite. I can't ride my bike without getting honked at, none of my neighbors want to talk or get to know one another, and everyone is paranoid about being politically correct over all else and common sense.

My solution? Quit my bitching and move. I respect everyone's right to live the way they want, and since CA didn't work for me, I am going somewhere that does and letting everyone be in peace. My 0.02.... Although I am bummed about the pay cut...hah!

Damn right I'm a Californian! If I needed a fkn egg I'd go to the store. Seriously does anyone actually go bother their neighbors for an egg? Maybe in Brokeback, Montana but here you'd either get shot or have the cops called on you.

I trade implements with my neighbors. That way they don’t have to buy $700 back-blades, $800 tractor rakes, or $1000 post hole diggers - and I don’t have to buy a $1600 log-splitter.
Eggs are cheap, log-splitters are expensive. :D
We usually stop at #thewife when it comes to bartering. We were always the youngest by far, but finally got a couple our age down the road that recently moved in. #exceptions.

PS - hit 86 earlier, finally dropped to 82 o_O

My neighbor's a huge Dodgers fan too. And it's not that I wouldn't talk to him. It's just that he's a hipster, Range Rover driving pussy who wouldn't know which end of a screwdriver to hold. Now the guy down the street I'm cool with. :fistbump: He drives a white TRD pro 4Runner.

I completely agree! All my neighbors do Christmas tree farms, hay, wineries, or animal farms. I’m the only one that hasn’t done literally jack shit with our land LOL.
Everyone thinks we have the perfect place for a winery, but I definitely don’t have the time at this stage in my life!

The nice grass that circles our house is almost an acre, and it’s just too much for me. I didn’t know what I was doing when we built. Our flower beds are like 30 yards of bark a year. That’s just downright not cool! *thumbsdown*
Thankfully I finally seeded the larger acreage (6-8) this fall so I won’t be fighting with 6ft weeds next year.

My street is pretty quiet also but nobody's looking out for each other. I saw some tweaker cholo breaking into my neighbor's Accord early one morning so I walked across the street, confronted him, disarmed him, and subdued him till the cops came. I didn't do it for my neighbor. I did it cause there'd been a lot of break ins and petty thefts in the area. That and I hate fkn tweakers. And cholos.

I don't think one single person is bashing an entire state, or our fellow US citizens. But rather the California legislature's total disrespect of their constituents enumerated civil rights through expressly forbidden actions...and then expect the rest of the country to follow step.

Of course voters continue to vote for THEIR best interests, not yours, not the state's and not their fellow citizens.

Benjamin Franklin — 'When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.'

I was actually just talking with one of my cousins about this last night. She said everyone out there just tries to ignore all the problems and live their life. So what she said is essentially Californians are putting their heads in the sand. Unbelievable. At least now I know how all those terrible politicians keep getting re-elected out there. It's a real shame too b'c California is such an amazingly beautiful state. I hate to see it so tarnished and what a joke it's become now.

    Beware Texas. You're next.
