I see what you’re saying now. Yeah both my panels sit like your passenger side and are provided separation by the rubber stopper in the middle. Your driver side is definitely not right. I hope you have luck with the warranty claim.

Thanks for these pics. Doing this job now. First step is cutting the spray on liner away from the front tie down bolts. WTH did they spray over those and not take them off like the back?? Mine is so caked on. This will be the most difficult part.

    Too many, but not enough....
It was for me too, like so thick it was filling up the screws.

Got it done. Fit is great. My only issue is I feel like it will rattle a bit. The bumper doesn’t quite push against the side as much as I would like. If I did it again I’d put a few washers behind it to push it out more. Going to see how it goes. I’m wondering if taking the front hooks off would pull the bottom tighter, thus putting more pressure on the bumper?

Mine rattled a bit when I had it installed. It seemed to be because the panel was two separate pieces. I put a piece of flat metal between the two halves to brace it, and that really helped.

I put a little bit of foam weather strip at the top of the union of the 2 pieces in between the panel and bed and it's quiet and solid now.

great ideas. If you have photos I’m all game haha. I agree, it rattles the most in the middle where the panels come together.
