He said fake engine sound in the speakers on the JBL trucks.
Hopefully that means not on the SR.

Just curious what you got on the front door? Initial calibrations are based on rims which I could easily be a couple pixels out which then throw it all out of whack. Throw in picture angles and the numbers could be way off. Nothing beats a tape measure for 3D simple measurements.

BTW did you calibrate your tape measure lol

Was not bashing you, very hard to get actual readings from just a pic. The front door read 45 and 3/4 inches from the point you measured at. Not close at all it seems.

My Dad used to say this to me all the time as I grew up. Fast forward to 11 years ago, when I accepted the first of a few IT jobs with the DoD. (Same place, just promoted to different positions.)

The very next time he said that, I looked at him and said "...you realize that, given my employer, this sort of *IS* government work?"

    He about died laughing. :D

They Should have gone with a 6 foot box ,Like my 2009 Sierra I am trying to replace. I think its a nice balance aesthetically and functionally.
Unfortunately I bought the 4.8V8 should have bought the 5.3 .I foolishly thought it would be better on fuel.. not 15.9 K per 100 K 14.9 (MPG) and has a 4800Lb towing capacity . All the wait for the DC info and i have to say I am disappointed. The 2022 Crewmax with 6.5 sounds great but its 15 inch longer than what I got now. We have those crappy parking spots were DuM_b As>s Park Smart cars "You cant haul gravel in a smart car"[IMG]

I am wondering how well the plastic box is going to stand up to gravel and
The payloads are in the 2022 manual someone posted

Payloads in the manual are ballpark factory stuff. They are superseded by the door stickers. Pull up a 2019 Crewmax SR5's payload in an owner manual and I'll tell you what my door sticker says. It's a fair bit lower than the generic info of the manual.

Agreed on the payload or any other data.
What the vehicle plate or sticker rules.
Adding a pine air freshener to the build would change the payload.. That may be the closest thing to wood most crewmax owners can fit in their box...just kidding now ..i may be getting one now too

Quite a difference in legroom. 2.7 inches less total legroom in the Double Cab and 2 inches less total legrooom in the CrewMax

    2022 Tundra
41.2/33.3 inches (Double Cab); 41.2/41.6 inches (CrewMax)

    2021 Tundra
42.5/34.7 inches (Double Cab): 42.5/42.3 (CrewMax)

Might be an issue in the DC. I doubt it will be in the CM.
