Nice! What is the estimated cost to powder coat the C4 bumper? I was quoted (roughly) about 250 here in Charlotte, NC.

$200 is what I was quoted, but supplying my own PC- using Cadillac gray, looks to be an almost identical match to MGM

It really was super easy. Bolted right up and needed very little adjustment. Kept the control box on top of the winch and it went perfectly under the grille

Do you think you could install the winch while the bumper was on the truck or do you have to do i prior to bumper install? Thanks!

You’re def gonna wanna install the winch with the bumper off. Do lights winch etc before you put it on. It’s cyber Monday, go ahead and buy it all today!

Just curious, what is the logic or reasoning behind C4 FAB not powder coating their products prior to shipment? It seems most buyers, including myself, would want a "ready-to-go" bumper when it arrives.

Personally I like that they don't do it. Most aftermarket bumpers have piss pour powder coating jobs and rock chip easily or start to rust/ flake after a year or two.

My guess would be a combination of the following:
    - powder coat gets damaged during shipping- warranty nightmare, happens with other companies
    - lack of reliable powder coater close to them
    - allows end used to customize bumper- from fab work to custom color or matte vs gloss finish
    - less hassle for them

Yeah, they said in another thread that the only PC shop near them was still hours away and was a small shop that couldnt do more than a few items of C4s a week due to existing contracts. C4 looked into doing their PC in house but the initial cost was crazy high(he put the amounts including staff, chemicals, permits and a new building).

I personally have been buying bumpers and sliders for my rigs for the last 20 years and have never had factory PC last any length of time. I bought C4s because they come bare, i can do my own prepaint prep, my own etching primer, and base coats. It also allows me to freshen up whenever I want and not have to match their PC.

That makes a lot of sense, I never thought about the potential warranty and shipping issues. Thanks!

That's a nice looking bumpers. Do one of you guys have a good picture of the back side of your bumper? I'd like to see how it's built.

Any chance you can weigh it before you install it? I am waiting for mine and am curious if I should order new springs for my coilovers.

Installed mine yesterday. Still need to put on my Rigid OEM compliant fogs and Rigid Amber floods. Was just too tired after this install.

I'll take a few more this weekend after I install more lights. I decided to go no hoop because I didn't want to block the TOYOTA emblem in the grill.
