Jba long tube headers, dirty deeds TRD exhaust (2x24), 19+ Pro lights and grill painted sky silver, TRD rear sway bar, TRD reusable air filter, PnP sliders, pnp full set skid plates, 275/70/18 ko2’s, bully dog bdx (trail setting), c4 hybrid bumper with DD lights(sae fog and driving)
That’s part of the reason I went with the hybrid version, I mounted 2 sets of diode dynamics lights no problem and still have room for more B8465939-CB89-4080-A11F-EAE8F9535622.jpg

I almost wish I didn't find this thread. Anyone want to buy an SSO Slimline Hybrid bumper? lol No seriously. Northern Virginia.

I'll be keeping my eye out for a C4 BF sale this year.

Does anyone know if there is a remote controller extension plug - like Warn makes - for a Smittybilt Gen3? I looked but didn't find one. I'd rather not move the entire control box, and instead do what @El Two did on page 34 with mounting the plug extension inside the fog light well. Great job with that Lisa. What kind of hole saw did you use?

Don't really want to get rid of my DD SS3's, so looks like I'm gonna fab a bracket. Thanks for all the ideas in this thread.

Did your smitty winch fit with the control box on top or did you have to relocate it?

How much time do you have? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .......... Eaton rear eLocker, Camburg 1.5” shackles, Rear Seat Delete, S&B CAI, sPOD, Air Bag Helpers w/ Daystar Cradles, RCI engine & fuel tank skid plates, ABS Guards, Job Box Storage, Tailgate Power Lock, Desert Eagle Offroad tranny/cat security skid plate, Added Driver’s Side Grab Handle, VLEDS Footwell & Step Lighting, Anytime Front Camera, Illuminated Ignition Ring, Console Molle Panel, Sound Dampening in Ceiling/Doors/Floor, Yakima Rack, Paracord Grab Handle Wraps, BD Underhood Light, Tuffy Console Safe Insert, WeBoost System, Midland GMRS Radio, Console Interior Lighting, Power Inverter, Custom Center Switch Panel, and Dual Air Compressors
Thanks! . . . I used a Milwaukee 3/4” bimetal hole saw and a little cutting fluid. It took awhile, kept having to stop and let things cools down before cutting all the way through.

I was able to use the stock SS3 bracket on the fog light opening. Just drill a couple of holes in the bracket and mount it from underneath. Super easy but there is a balancing act between having the light as close to the opening as possible and yet have enough room to pivot the light for aiming. Here’s a few pics -

    Yes, yes.
    I know it’s a different bumper.
This is what I did with my sensor holes.

Sweet! Thanks for posting the pics of the SS3 mounts. I'll give that a shot. Mine didn't come with mounts (they're sitting in the OEM brackets right now) - I'll have to get a hold of DD to get a pair.

In case anyone else was wondering. I emailed Smittybilt (they're fast - they replied in 8 minutes), and they don't make an extension for the remote. I'll likely be relocating the control box.

People with a BD light bar in their overland bumper - is there enough room between the light bar & bumper to fit BD’s snap-on light covers? I kinda doubt it, but hoping there’s room. The covers are req’d in my state.

Very similar as mentioned but from the research that I did, it seems some people have had issues with CBI on two things:
    1) Alignment and bumpers either not lining up to mounting holes properly or once mounted, the not being straight / even on the truck.
    2) They ship their bumpers powder coated and some have had issues with scratches / chips during the shipping process
