Need advice on fog lights. I want to put DD SAE fog lights in an Overland bumper and connect them to the OEM wire harness but I’m not certain of the correct style and part number. There’s three different pod shapes and need to know which works and mounts best in the Overland bumper. Those that have DD fogs, did you purchase the angled, round, or standard/square shaped pod?

    angled - https://www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-3-sae-dot-yellow-pro-angled-led-pod-pair.html

    round - https://www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-3-sae-dot-yellow-pro-round-led-pod-pair.html

    standard/square - https://www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-3-sae-dot-yellow-pro-standard-led-pod-pair.html

Second question, did you need a special adapter to connect to the Tundra OEM wire harness?

    Many thanks.

Standard fits best. You will need to build your own bracket to fit them. See my post a few pages back or my build thread

    Quick question
What all lights did you get? And do you remember the cost? I'm sure they cost more then the bumper did. Haha

Picked up my hybrid today. I was pretty worried that it was damaged judging by the destroyed pallet but it just had a few scratches that I can live with. Now time to paint and wire lights

Let there be dancing in the streets and party favors for everyone! :yay: I’m stoked.

Overland bumper arrived and I started cutting the holes for BD S1 lights on the corners.

Finished cutting and de-burring the holes on the corners for the BD S1’s.

    6721CAB4-9676-4779-9A23-39AE1C64A5B6.jpg

Also cut a 3/4” hole to add a cable extension that will make it easy to connect/disconnect the wired remote control for a Warn Zeon winch. It will be tucked in next to the driver’s side fog light. The top right inset pic is a mock up of what it will look like. My first thought was to have it mounted facing upward on the top of the bumper. But the more I thought about it, the more concerned I was that the connector would get full of dirt & water, or worse, I’d step on the thing and damage it while climbing on the bumper to see in the engine compartment. Next to the fog light is out of the way and protected from stones. There’s also plenty of room to get your hand in there to plug in the controller.

Put mine on yesterday. Got it about a month sooner than expected. Shoutout to the good folks over at C4 for sending me the hardware/brackets that FedEx (who I hate) apparently lost during transit. Very straightforward install using their video. Awesome quality and this thing is a HOSS!

Yea cheapest I could find for powder coating was about 400 so I’m just gonna rattle can mine with self etch primer and the krylon bed liner spray. @Zero One Actual did his with that and it looks good and easy to touch up. Waiting for my lp9s to show up anyway so I’m in no rush

Yea there was a cardboard box with mine with the two steel brackets and hardware

Also, not that I want to defend fedex, but c4 could do a MUCH better job packaging these bumpers

Yep! The guy who powder coated my bumper actually asked me “are you going to get the brackets done?” And I was like brackets??

then I started watching the install video and realized I damn sure was missing some stuff!
