Damn brother! That looks so good! I’m still confident with my choice, but I hope I don’t regret going with the CBI.

Okay will do! It’s just set on the truck now and will come off for some wiring I didn’t do. I will adjust it then before I impact it down. And thanks for the clip tip.

Eight cans. Buy ten in case one clogs up. I did my sliders and bumper in the Krylon and love it. If it scratches I just sand and spray. Done.

Good to know! Many years ago, I spray painted an old Willys with regular OD Krylon, but have never done their spray-on liner. I may try this with sliders and bumpers I hope to get in the future. Thanks for the idea!

I was scared at first also. But @BashFab Fabrications showed me some other customers sliders and bumpers and how easy it is to “fix” any dings or whatever and I was sold.

The krylon seems to have a kinda smooth finish.
I’ve used some spray on bed liner before that was super grainy and was so rough you couldn’t dry it with a microfiber without pulling material out.

Can you wipe the krylon easily?

Also; Did you sand or sandblast before applying?

No sandblast. I cleaned the bumper with acetone or mineral spirits (your choice). Then used rustoleum self etching primer. I let that sit for awhile and then went to town with the Krylon. Do the inside first so you get used to your distance from the bumper and just go slow. I also bought the trigger add on sprayer instead of smoking your pointer finger. Plus it gives way better spray patterns. It is not rough at all like the other brands. Yes I can wipe it down easily. At first it appears somewhat rough but after a few days of drying it turns out awesome. You can always buy a can and test it on a piece of pipe or something to actually see it. But it does not look like a driveway drunk job on an expensive truck. It looks really nice. My sliders are done it it also and it matches my Leitner designs rack perfectly.

    Thanks!
Yeah, I’ve got a number of those spray triggers.
I’m glad to hear it’s not rough.
That other stuff I used would scar you.

    Lots of shenanigans.
Do you need to drill holes into your frame or do they attach to the frame by previous bolts?

good, looks like they dropped their initial 2 pieces design. probably not a big seller.

**Sliders are now a 1-piece design and no longer bolt together in the middle. **

For those of your running kings ( or any other quality coilovers) what spring rate are you running for your front bumpers with winches?

Can anyone confirm if the stock fog lights from Toyota (not the rigid ones) will fit on the C4 bumper? I know its meant for BD lights but trying to save some mulla where I can.

Pretty sure they won't. Even the Pro Rigids won't work. I had a 19 Pro and had their Hybrid bumper and thought I could use my stock Pro Rigids and they were a totally different animal with how they were made specifically for the Pro's.

Damn, I’m wondering if I can somehow modify the TRD stock fog lights to fit it somehow. I asked C4 and they aren’t giving a clear answer. I bought the overland bumper and am not sure what the mounting points consist of. Can’t seem to find a good video that shows it.

My Overland front bumper just shipped today. If it's like the hybrid, they have tabs welded by the light hole were the bolts attach.

It looks like it can attach on with any bolt... I just dont know if the stock fog lights have the capability of being attached with a bolt, but I bet cali raised or rigid pods would fit with no issues. Thanks for the picture!

Don’t forget about the Diode Dynamics fog lights also. They are very very popular due to being so good for such a good price.

I thought of doing the same thing.... Not real easy, but not impossible.

The stock fogs clip into the bumper housing. There are places you could attach to on the back, but you would have to DIY a bracket.

You can see the 4 screw tabs here.
