I emailed them again today about drilling holes on the top of bumper for lights, but it's in the shipping department. I'll drill them myself I guess. But, I'm still on the fence about them.

    Lots of shenanigans.
She looks great! Thanks for the details! Just one more question. What did you have to do to modify the diode dynamics light bar? I plan on using the same light bar.

I will get some pictures for you. It’s hard to explain via typing. But I cut off some of the metal on the bracket and turned it around backwards. It fits perfectly. I just had to look at it differently to figure it out. If you get the bracket and hold it up to the mount on the bumper it will be too wide, so just “tetris” rotate it around and it will fit. I also got half inch screws as the ones that came from DD were too long and hit the inside of the bumper.

Pros. Not sure about the difference, only ever seen mine.

    On an unrelated note

Forgot to include this install pic with the wiring mess. Fun times. Zip ties, so many, zip ties.

Wired it all up to the sPOD with the tundra sunglasses holder switch panel

But love the way it turned out.

    Already tested it out.

No. I'll try to take one. Its not bright or intrusive at all. Very subtle. Just let's you know the switch is on.

Does the source of that new version of the Spod mount to the top of the fuse box like the older style? I'm debating between the 2.

Yes it does. I am looking into relocating it soon. I already mounted my ARB on board air on the fuse box, so it was a tight fit getting the sPOD on there.

I went with Cement to match, here's rough mock up of your truck after install, Ill quote you about $3.50 out the door.

I’m on the south east so the dish is pointing the wrong direction. But if it folds down for Chick-fil-A drive throughs then send it. I pay in bitcoin or dabloons.

I have CB and HAM radio going on. I will use some HAM techniques to reach him. He is on Tatoonie right now anyways.

Does your LP9 Pros stay backlit all of the time or is it only backlit when you turn it on?

No mine are not set up for the backlight. Though it does have the feature to do so. The switch they send honestly leaves something to be desired. Its great that it has 3 settings, low beam, high beam, and back lighting. But I just wired them to the sPOD and into the truck with the simple switch that is on or off. So the factory switch they sent me is in the on and high beam setting, so when I throw my switch in the truck the world lights up and I can see into the future, but currently I do not have the ability to switch it to low beam or use back lighting.

The switch is zip tied up into the bumper. Maybe one of these days Ill look into finding a place for it in the truck, but for now, if I want the LP9s on, they are just on and on high.

Nice! Do you happen to know if the backlight is DOT approved? If not, I may go for the Sports to save a couple of wing wangs.

You might want a wee bit more gap at the fender. I did 1/2" and rubbed thru the PC on the first trip in the dirt.

Also on the parking sensors, CLIP THE NUBS off the white clips, otherwise the face of the sensor wants to crack off....
