Nice looking truck. Would you happen to have a side view picture of your truck? What offset are your rims?

Looks great. I'm debating on 285-65 or 275-70. Thanks

I had to remove the front mudflap with the 285/65. Was getting some rubbing with the stock ride height. No issues with the mudflap removed.

Dedicated Ford owner here for 30 years until I bought a 2001 Supercrew with the poorly designed 5.4. Last straw was when it spit plug out of number 6 and stranded wife on a cold rainy Xmas eve. Also Ford refused to pay for a known paint issue on the roof. $4000 spent on repairs before it hit 90k and I did ball joints myself.

Welcome and congrats on your new Tundra! My brother-in-law has a 2014 4x4 F150 STX with the 6.2L. He’s had nothing but problems with it: passenger front brake pads literally fell out, water pump broke and just last month his engine blew a rod and cratered. He had a used one swapped in two weeks ago.

By contrast, my father-in-law has a ‘97 F150 with over 350K miles on it. His previous F150 was an ‘86 with the inline 6 and manual transmission that had over 500K miles before getting an engine rebuild.

My ‘93 fullsize Ford Bronco with the 5.0 wasn’t as lucky as my father-in-law’s trucks. Constant starter problems, even with a new starter, electronic t-case went out (replaced it with a junkyard manual t-case) and two auto transmissions blown within 120K miles.

Granted, those are all different from the newer Ford trucks. But to me it seems like it’s still more hit or miss with Ford than with Toyota.

Maybe I got @BTBAKER and @Prostar 190 confused... So many beers.. 2020... I digress. Great looking truck. If it wasn't so nice I wouldn't have commented tbh!

I had a 1997 F150 with 5.0. It was actually a good truck considering first year of redesign. 187k on odo and all I did was cats and brakes. Buddy who owned Chevy's said it was a Mustang with a bed. I had an 81 with the big inline 6 an 4 speed with granny low. I rebuilt it at 80k but probably due to high speeds on hwy. I once made Houston to San Antonio in 2 hours from hotel check out to check in. That 6 was a torquey little motor but high speeds on hwy were not kind to it.
