2018 Tundra-seems like people have found the noise to be coming from the computer itself. Is this still the case? Any known fix? Getting ready to bring mine in, just hoping to have a plan...

    Thanks

Covered my ECM in noise deadening material and put a clamp on it. No more buzzing. The dealer might replace it from what I read, but that one may make noise as well.

Some people have had issues with the ECM buzzing. I had issues with the heater core tubes buzzing, they are located behind the glove box. Does your buzzing go away after the truck warms up? If so, it might be the tubes. Another member here was thankfully able to figure out a fix, and it worked for me as well. I can show you what I did if it turns out the tubes are your problem.

There are also a few threads on how to fix the ECM buzz, that seems to be more common.

I'm going to pay more attention to it. not sure if it does change pitch after being warmed up. I know I can hear it after driving for 10 miles or so, no sure longer then that. I'll pay attention today. Thanks

Good Lord, I hope not. Need to save money for fuel.
