Buying used vs new? My situation....

    I pay cash and move on...I buy new because I keep them for 10, 15 or more years and to mitigate the unknown risk going forward...yes, there are good used vehicles on the market for sure. Buying used isn't helpful when trying to keep them for long periods of time, it increases the frequency of having to buy again.

    B/L: If you are buying new and getting rid of it in 2-5 years it doesn't make sense. If you are keeping them for 10+ years it makes sense to buy new.

    Buying a nice used Tundra for cash and keeping it for 15+ years makes sense, but few people posses that kind of discipline.
