Finally found a Tundra I like.

    2016, SR5, 32,000 miles or so.

I know to look for cam tower leak and bed rust.

A dealer looked it over and gave it a clean bill of health. Maintenance items are coming up soon like tires and brakes. Nothing major.

What else should I check? From what I’m told the truck was used as a commuter, stored inside, and never towed anything.

    Priced in the mid-high 20’s.

    Thanks for any help.

Albany area. Looking forward to seeing friends again now that Cuomo just lifted the non-essential gatherings ban.

    Passed on this one.

    1. truck was from Canada. Underneath had more rust than I expected for a 2016. Dash and speedo in KM.
    2. Title issues. Has some weird “undisclosed lien” on the title. When I talked to the guy a while back he said it was a clear title with no liens.

Also couldn’t verify the cam tower condition over the phone. The guy was concerned about driving it here and it not being what I expected it to be.

    No go for me.

Welcome, I am in the Albany NY myself. Check out Kinderhook Toyota for one of the used trucks they have on the lot. Small dealership with no hassle. No running back and forth to run numbers. Bought my 2019 Tundra Sport from them. Good luck.
