Thinking of taking advantage of the current times and selling my Tundra for $10k profit. Buying a high mile FJ for 12k and then trading/ selling it once the new tundra comes out. I normally don’t buy first model year but this things been in the R&D department for years. Most 07 Tundras turned out just fine. When the new tundra, raptor, f150 lightning, and cyber truck come out there’s no way we’ll be able to fetch $50k for our modded 50k mile 2nd/3rd Gen on an antiquated platform.

I just think the look, comfort, tech, off road crawl mode, rear locker, and torque may be the selling points. Otherwise it’s Raptor R for me if toyota engine specs fail to impress.

most importantly the new vehicle feel. My 2018 drives same as my 08 once I added the pedal commander. So for me it’s something different as well.

Of the few Middle East videos making their way onto YT, the new LC300, which weighs about what the new Tundra will weigh and has same running gear, is only able to do 0-100km/H in mid-high 7's. Pretty far off of what most F-150's can do. BTW, that is for the new TT gas V6, not the diesel.

Idk. The Cyber Truck and lightning are for people who don’t actually use their trucks as trucks. Its the guy who drives to work or maybe tows his wakeboat to the lake 5 miles away on the weekend. The electric trucks wont be at the point where they can replace ICE’s for towing or distance driving for a long time.

I feel like the Tundra is kind of the opposite. Those who know, know.

I didn't realize that these were race cars and not trucks.

    Good for you.

Other people will include it as a metric of consideration.

I don't think potential customers are going to give the acceleration metric a pass if it is indeed that slow.

I also think video recording the cluster and using a timer isn't anywhere near accurate, I'm sure the cluster has a delay.
