I have the option to buy a limited access cab tundra with the TRD off road package with 315k for $3-4k. It has recently had the transmission rebuilt, got a warranty frame 100k miles ago, regularly had the timing belt done every 90-110k miles. The body is in great shape, and the majority of the miles are highway and it was elderly owned and driven since 100k miles. It is a great, reliable motor but the 300k is still raising some red flags for me. Is it worth it to buy this truck for that much? Or will it most likely turn into a money pit. This summer I am going to regularly be wanting to make 150mi round trips weekly or biweekly...

If you haven't read this thread yet, don't buy anything until you pore over the first two posts. Not my work, it's basically a compilation of info from multiple members: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

It's not the body you need to worry about, and your idea "300k is a red flag" is bullshit. That thread will explain why. You need to be more worried about the lower balljoints and/or suspension than anything, I'd guess.
