So over $600 Canadian (includes our tax) for a FOB that does not even give you a real key - 8^0 sheesh
So they will sell you a FOB but they won't give you a second FOB with the Tundra ?
Did you get your new Tundra?

    Then find one for MSRP….

Good luck. With ADM you might as well buy something else that’s a lot faster.

I do intend to bring her up there at some point. A bunch of my company’s materials were used on the pikes peak summit house remodel and I want to see that, and of course see how the car likes the drive up.

Not really, when you consider that most of the replies are people getting defensive and basically calling the guy an asshole for having a bad experience and talking about it.
If the 3rd gen is so amazing, then maybe more than 15 people should post in the threads praising them and spend less time beating up on the one guy venting about having a terrible experience with his?
I dunno, maybe I have an odd outlook on things.

    Still rolling stock baby....

Wait until your seat trim panel breaks and you get to pay out of pocket for it.

I ditched my 2022 tundra after 4 months, windnoise, broken seat panel, a few other reasons.

Picked up a 2022 Silverado LT, more options than the toyota, seat trim after 6 months still looks new highway milage is 21.9 and I have 2 sets of fobs for the silverado. Over all I am happier.

The 2019 tundra I had was far and above a better truck than the 2022

I tend to agree but the 911 is an experience everyone should have and probably the best of the worse. I owned over 30 vehicles, the 911 checks every single box. Porsche does like to lick ass also, and their sales staff resembles a Miami Beach seen. If a Miata is a housewife, and a Superformance Cobra replica is a high priced whore, the 911 is the perfect in-between. Then again the Superformance Cobra should be part of your collection.

I expect zero theatrics from Toyota, I keep my 2021 for now, old dated hog without memory seats on a limited, wtf was I thinking and I did these drive it, then again I thought in 2021 memory seats are standard...

You folks blaming me for no test drive must live in the land of milk and honey, or probably are US citizens where the truck gets marketing preference and is available. When I ordered my new Tundra it was April 3, 2022. There wasn't ANY model of Tundra available to even see within 150km of where I live. Zero option for test drive. As we speak, there are still no new dealer Tundras available for test drive. Now, you are capable of test driving a used truck at some dealerships where employees have a Tundra and have agreed to allow it to be used for test drives. Even now there are zero trucks on any of the dealerships where I live. If one does appear it's already sold from an order that was placed up to 18 months ago. I wanted an 8 foot bed but finally gave up after waiting 11 months. According to the one dealership here, they don't know of a single eight foot bed delivered in Ontario. I based my decision to buy a new Tundra on the fact that I've owned three Tacomas and two Tundras in the past and they were all excellent vehicles. This one has definately bit me in the ass. Re: stickers on window and owners manual about the keys. I wish I hadn't seen this because now my blood is boiling. No such stickers exist at any of the three dealerships that are within 150km of where I live. Looks like they remove them and you're not told about the shortage until you sold on the dotted line. Re: truck is under warranty and you can get Toyota to replace your faulty seals. I had them replace the seals. They just install the same seal that was not designed correctly and your doors still leak miserably. I asked the dealership how many trucks they had done the window seals on and they said 14 to date. I asked him how many resulted in a fix and the answer was zero. I'm starting to think that the side view mirror aerodynamics might be contributing to the severe road noise/wind noise. If I compare it to my 2010 Tundra, the new mirror has numerous indents and seams that are not on the 2010. If this is the case, then I know where there's a hog barn that the wind tunnel tech can be taken to so I can have a six minute "discussion" out back with him and a hickory axe handle. It amazes me that this defect wasn't discovered during design and tunnel testing. An interesting note - dealer service manager said the road/air roar issue is not a problem on the crew cab. Every complaint they've had is with the xtra cab (double cab). Are the cab seals or mirrors different or is the aerodynamics of the cab length a factor in the noise?

Re: water leak in doors. This is not mere moisture in the door, The fucking rubber seal has a 1cm gap in it! Water runs right through the door and wets the inside of the cab. We used a lot of salt on our roads up here in God's Country. Imagine a winter's worth of salt spray running down inside the door panels. Toyota needs to take the existing window seals out, use the seals to violently thrash the engineer who let this pass testing ,soundly until they pass out, then redesign and do a recall to get these windows fixed. Good luck on that. You'll never see it unless it's a regulated safety issue.

    @Fenelon,

Sorry about your truck and buying experience. On the plus side given the scarcity of Tundra’s in you area of operations, you should have no trouble selling it and using that money to buy a truck that meets your needs and expectations.

Manny spotted two Supra's the last week. "Grandpa, check out that new Supra!" He freaking knows about the new Supra. Damn YouTube. He knows his Euro high end cars. "Grandpa, there's a Huracan!"

No thanks. I know someone that has one. Amazing cars...and they are Porsche like expensive to maintain.

Yes. Speed Queens. On year 7 no issues yet... unlike the craptastic, front loading, mildew smelling, drain leaking, gear grinding LG's that looked 'Oh so nice' to the wife.
