Had stock 32” tires on my truck since it was new so with around 28,000 miles I installed some 33”s. I noticed it was not shifting near as buttery smooth as before not like it was bad or anything that’s for sure. The other day I installed intermittent wiper and fog light controls that required pulling the steering wheel and the air bag & that requires disconnecting the battery. I disconnected the battery for a few hours while doing the work. Anyway after completing the work and hooking the battery back up and after a few days of driving I noticed how super buttery smooth it was shifting.

A little of this and a little of that.
Interesting, glad it worked out for you. I put new tires on mine two weeks ago and it still shifts the same as before but then I never had problems with shifting to begin with.

With the battery disconnected it may have reset your Transmission control module so it just relearned the driving habits with the new wheels?
