Why do I get the feeling you've worked for Toyota at some point...! ha. Hey I hear what you are saying and its not that I don't believe you. Its just you are the first person to have said this about the bullydog. So Im just throwing out there what Ive read and been told. Trust me, the more info I get on it the better... I don't want to waste 350 dollars

Its never ending with the mods huh...! My problem lately has been time. Iv got a lift, front camera, seat covers, switches and my tundras.com decal all waiting to be done. Im going to have my bumpers powder coated, get a toolbox for the back and do a headlight retro fit like Mikes truck.

By the way, I took a chance on a different company for some seat covers. They came in and look pretty nice... Ill post a thread on them after I get them on. Hopefully tomorrow...

Im trying to figure them out here

You dont have a unlock code to the ecm so how do i know your really flashing it? Checksums please.

You give the person a display which is really useless by them. Fishy here.

Logic is just not adding up to me. I have been in computers since 1981. Very hard for me to believe there logic. I have worked around computers and ecms a very long time too long.

The last outside flash outside toyota was with JET. you had to send the ecm to them they could flash it but the failure rate was 80/20.

Man Mike, I seriously wish you would call Bullydog and question the living hell out of them! I would be really interested in having someone that understands code and programing find out if what they are claiming is really true!!!

well, I might start looking into it. It takes me forever reading and researching on things before I buy. the real reason I was interested in the BD is they were talking about having a tune for SC on flex fuels. but that's not looking so good these days

Tricky what year is your truck? ffv is good to 2014 for supercharger. Toyota will reflash to handle the charger.

Uses existing OE Engine ECU (Electronic Control Unit) with software re-flash for calibration.

    • Engine calibration reflash is available through TIS using your scan tool or TechStream device. No other special tools or adapters are required.

    Excellent 2013..

goto the dealer have them flash the ecm put on the SC. Take two aspirin and go home happy.

you dont need a piggy back system unless you want to push the sc to its limits.

I wish it were that easy. They wont flash a flex fuel truck with the SC tune.

Only thing that would keep a dealer from flashing this is if they dont have the ecm scanner/programmer that is required for this set up. The dealer 5 miles from me doesnt do trd but the dealer 60 miles from me SPARKS DOES. Yes i live on top of them.
