    I got to finish the passenger side one as well (on the floor still). I just need to cut some 2x2 square tube for the frame brackets. At this height, the bottoms of the main portion is flush to the bottom of the frame. I’m curious if I should make them parallel to the bottom of frame or raise them up slightly. Say an 1” up? They look a tad low to me. What y’all think before I cut them?

    Are you going to leave the ends open? I'd at least put a wire mesh on there...before I got sliders I had nfab bars. They had open ends and got filled with all sorts of debris

    Ok I finished capping the ends off and welding them to the frame. Primed them for some protection until I bedline the truck. I’ll tell ya it makes a massive difference for getting into the truck and the side of the bed. Pretty excited on it. Although they do look a bit bulky looking. I’m hoping they disappear slightly once they’re black. They looked better in raw steel than grey imo. (As did the rear bumper also). Anyway glad they’re done and more helpful than nothing!
