    Hello!

with all of the supply chain issues and such, I’m curious who’s build dates have gotten pushed multiple times. So far I’m at 4 within a week on a crewmax limited. seems to be about a day or 2 push, but the status is “in production 1/30” then it says “in production 1/31” anyone else have a similar experience? I’m getting anxious as I’ve been without a truck for awhile due to my previous lease ending.
    Original date: 1/24
    2nd date: 1/27
    3rd date: 1/30
    4th time: 1/31

wow, that doesn't seem to bode well for my build date of 2.7.23. Last I saw/heard was they were ironing out software glitches

dont take my situation as normal. i had a unicorn allocation request originally.

no AQ or RB factory options on a platinum blueprint. pretty dam rare for my region (kansas city) since they were all coming with AQ and RB which i didnt want. had no need for auto running boards and hud/avs system.

after 6 months, the wife got tired of waiting and just took the first platinum blueprint with AQ & RB.

My 2/7/23 build date has been pushed to 2/13/23. My dealer sent me a screenshot of Pipeline last Friday.

    Love that KC spec!! :)

I had a Platinum with only floor mats en route, but snagged a Black Plat with the exact same spec as yours when someone backed out on it at Olathe Toyota. I'm pretty happy with the auto running boards!!

You guys are lucky you're not in Canada... I put a deposit down late March 2022 for a Hybrid Platinum (no special equipment), and it should be arriving in the next week, that's over 10 months. Plus, here in Canada we can't get any updates similar to the US, so you are stuck with a very generic update on what is going on with your truck.

I put my deposit down last July. If the truck comes in by March I’ll be at 9 months. Although the dealer I’m getting from had a long waitlist due to no markups or dealer add ons! I’m also getting $500 under MSRP. Worth the wait, just have to hope toyota doesn’t keep delaying my build much longer!

we didnt want the avs system (long term wise toyota/lexus dont have a stellar rep for longevity on those type of suspensions) and the auto boards are not the best for our winters up here in ND. i see alot of auto boards stuck frozen either in the extended or retracted position as they freeze in place alot up here. we wanted to go with static running boards like the RB20's.

maybe after the refresh we will try to get a tundra plat without those options when inventory is better. our initial plan for the 2018 platinum was to keep it at most 5yrs and get a 3rd gen tundra, but covid ruined our long term plans. we havent decided to keep this one as our final tundra before retirement or get another without the AQ/RB packages for our last vehicle or maybe downgrade to a tacoma for our last truck for retirement.

i am still waiting for the 6th gen 4runner to come out and decide if that will be my last vehicle for retirement or get a refresh 4runner before i retire in 8yrs. i got my 2014 4R limited and i am going on 8 yrs now with it with 94k on the odo.

I think that's why, Pro's/Capstones and 6.5" longbox trucks are longer to get in Canada, at least that's what I've been seeing, from various sources.

Yeah, my dealer said the TRD Pro is the longest lead time of all Toyota's being built.

We started off in April 2022 with a deposit left at our local dealership, we wanted a Lunar Rock Limited Crew 5.5 bed. In Sept 2022, I found our truck on Craigslist at another dealership, and it was similar but we got a Black Limited Crew 6.5 bed. The truck was not at this dealership yet, but we went there and put another deposit down on it. and waited 3 weeks for it to arrive and be ready for us.

There are a few new ones allocated and Craigslist seems to be a quick way to see the trucks coming in.

    For example: https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van/ctd/d/vancouver-2023-toyota-tundra-crewmax/7586966809.html

ya they seem to be struggling with building this truck.

my 25th anniversary Sienna was built right on time and shipped that same day.

my tundra has been pushed back already
