Today got the method 701’s and KO2’s on. Aaaand now i apparently need a new tire iron. Suggestions for one that is compatible with the method wheels and lug nuts would be appreciated folks. F9B4F85E-895F-4B51-8F70-E9EF201791BF.jpg

Looks awesome! Can't wait to see a pick with the truck clean and gleaming. Those wheels will make that green pop!

Finally, I joined the club! Fuel Vector 18x9 +20 wrapped in 285/75r18 Nitto RG's. Will post better pics when I pickup the truck. These were sent to me by the shop manager...20210302_153147.jpg 6364043001.jpg

Just got my wheels in from Dustin at FN wheels. He was incredible to work with, and he threw in a set of gorilla spline lugs for me as well.

These are the new style BFD wheels he offers. Matte bronze, 18x9, +18 offset. Flow formed and around 23 pounds a wheel. The light in my garage makes the bronze look a little muted, but they are not as bright as some other options out there. Which personally I love.

Where do you get these? Do you order direct from FN?

Yeah I emailed them, and Dustin responded and answered lots of questions for me via email. I called to actually place the order with him. I had to leave a message, but he called me back same day and we got the order through.

This style isn't for everyone, but I love them, and they weigh a fraction of most wheel options, but are just as strong.

Any rub? Does the +20 make them stick out and if so how far out from the wheel fenders?

Okay...ReadyLIFT 3/2 Lift Kit, 18x9 +20 off, 285/75r18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I rubbed on front stupid flaps...removed, I rubbed on mud flaps...removed AND heat molded a bit and reinstalled, I rubbed on plastic fender liner...cut area right behind fog lights straight across with multi-tool (about two inches removed all the way across). Here's the poke out...love the look. 20210306_153459.jpg

Awesome looking rig. Some mods already done for you. I went with Fuel Wheels and really liked their bronze selections. Good luck and share pics!

Will it fit a flat center cap? First gen bfds were offered with a very bulky center cap.

I'm not sure, but I'll go out to the garage shortly and try to get a picture of the new center caps he supplies with the wheels. They are different from what I'm told, but I don't have any experience with the first gen.

Here are the center caps. They are quite bulky, and I probably won't run them to be honest, but we'll see.

They also come with an optional overly which I don't think I'll run. Maybe if I find a Toyota/TRD style overly I'll run it. Luckily they can be installed/removed with the wheel on the truck, unlike my Level 8 wheels I had on my first gen Tundra.20210405_150302.jpg 20210405_150327.jpg 20210405_150334.jpg

Yeah that's my only complaint about those wheels. I'd run them without the caps as well.

Yeah I'm sure that's what I'll do. I like the way they look without them anyway. And I love how light they are for 18" wheels. It'll help offset the heavy ass M/T tires that are going on lol

Just pulled the trigger on some SCS SR8 in dark bronze +25 and now looking for tires to pair them up with :monocle: what tires are you guys running with your 18” rims and don’t get any rub or minimal rub?
