Did you only have to remove the mini front mud flap with this setup?

Actually, I had already removed them when I installed my bumpershellz, before the wheels and tires.
I'm not really sure of the purpose of those things anyways, so they're in a box in the garage.
But yes, I'm pretty sure they need to go to prevent rubbing with this setup.

Yes, and I almost went with them out but chickened out at the last minute.

@saybng I've been lurking around for a few weeks now and hadn't run across a fully murdered out 1794. I have one being brought up from TX as I type. I knew I couldn't have been the only one. I was already 90% sold on bronze wheels but this has solidified it. Looks great!

Here be the blank canvas. Hopefully will have it next week. MT is a long way from TX they say. All the replacement 218 paint parts are already ordered from Sparks. Chrome will be deleted within hours of delivery. This will be my 3rd Toyota build and 5th truck build overall so... I've got some plans now that I have the kinks pretty much worked out!

I am trying to visualize this. Has anyone had the TRD OR wheels completely powder coated dark bronze? I have gone through this whole thread and didn't see any pictures of this setup. Figured I could find a cheap set and be the guinea pig if it hasn't been done yet.

Only thing I've seen similar to this is someone put the bronze TRD Pro wheels from the Land Cruiser on their Tundra. Don't remember where I saw the pic, but its on here somewhere. Those wheels are pricy though.
If you're gonna pc a used set then that'd be the way to go. The TRD OR wheel is a good looking wheel in all black, no reason bronze wouldn't look good as well.

Thanks for the response. I saw the heritage bronze wheels and like them but the required VIN crap and cost wasn't worth it to me. I really like the TRD OR wheels and agree that all black looks good but all black is everywhere. I like being different and think all bronze on the TRD OR rims would look great.

I definitely will post pics if and when I do it. I too think they will look good. Probably won't pull the trigger till summer though.

You could always try with plastidip to see if you like the bronze on those wheels. Could just spray one as a test and if you like it get them all powder coated. Or spray all 4 and drive with em for awhile. I think the powder coat will look great but if you are unsure this is an affordable way to test.

Thats true. Plenty of experience with plastidip, lol. This will be an extra set that hopefully I can get pretty cheap. Looking at a set now on FB Marketplace for $500. Gonna see if he will go down to $400, who knows until you ask right? IMHO you can't go wrong with bronze.
