Previously in the New Members section I post an issue about my dash board lighting up like a Christmas tree with the main message being "Brake Controller Error". Taking it to a Toyota dealer they connected it to the computer and said they got two different codes...C0210 (Right Rear Speed Sensor) and U0129 (Loss of Comm With Trailer Brake Control). I replaced the Right Rear Speed Sensor and the dash cleared but..........now when I brake, whether pulling my boat or not, I'm hearing noises coming from what sounds like under my brake pedal or from the left front of the truck. The truck still brakes but when slowing down it sounds like something is engaging again beneath my brake pedal or toward the left front of the truck.

The dealership was wanting to replace the Trailer Brake Relay. Does anyone have experience with this problem. My truck is a 2016 SR5 CrewMax 5.7 with 50,000 miles on it. Is this possible covered under the drive train warranty?

I believe there was an issue at one time with the factory brake controllers.

If the replacement of the trailer brake relay is not being covered under warranty, I would buy the replacement from @Roman , or buy a P3 to replace it. Would probably save yourself some money versus having the dealership do it. Plus, the relay is easy to get to...

For a fine, upstanding member of this forum, such as yourself, Matt......Heck Yeah! I'm sure the Grand Boobah, @WarEagleSteve , would be wholeheartedly in favor of it. We would just need to come up with a position worthy of your skills.

Well, let's see......we have @Law323 as our Sergeant At Arms, @Almaboy is in charge of fan club recruiting, @WarEagleSteve is, of course, the Grand Poobah...... How about the elevated level of Chief of Staff? Of course, couldn't forget @joonbug as our Treasurer....

If we link the recruitment thread to the Graveyarders thread we could probably get @Jsena @GNTundra @Tomcat @DVYota and maybe, just maybe, we could recruit @aramirez73 for starters. I'm sure from there 10K is just around the corner

Nope. Union by-laws state you don't have to do anything at all, so we need more people to do nothing to actually get the job almost started
