In the last couple of days, the BRAKE! warning has come on when I am driving. Both times clear traffic in front of me. In the first instance clear morning with only myself on the road. And the latest last night coming off a clover leaf with traffic behind me however no one in front of me. No snow on the sensors. They were/are clear and clean. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this?

Yup I sure have, it’s happened 4 times to me so far. I asked lotsoftoys (Toyota mechanic on this site) about it and he said it’s a known issue without a known fix so far. If you find out something different I’d LOVE to hear it!

Glad to hear another Matt has seen this too. Makes me feel like it's verified official then. ;)

Really? Even on the '19's? Huh. Well I guess it's something to keep an eye on.

I've not yet had any issues with mine. I hope it stays that way

I've seen it a couple of times on my 2018, that is one reason why I turn off PCS every time I get in the truck. Issue solved.

It has happened to me once so far. Clear road in front, sensor clean. I thought maybe a leaf had blown onto the emblem or something....

It’s happened to me once when I was coming up on a railroad crossing, it flashed BRAKE!, then went away and I haven’t had it happen since.

Same here but it was a shadow across the road that caused the "BRAKE" to appear.Only 1 time so far.
