Has anyone experienced an “intermittent” brake pedal squeak when pressing on the brake first thing in the morning, or after the vehicle has sat for several hours? Driving me crazy as it only does it at first start and some other times throughout the day but inconsistent. I tried spraying silicone grease in the brake pedal assembly which slightly helped but not for long. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have. It goes away quickly so I figured it was moisture or something.

Yeah, I figured as well. Just annoying, but glad it’s not just me experiencing it.

I replaced the spring in my 07, after a few years, its back again intermittently.... not replacing this spring though... The original one looked over stretched in some spots though...

    Too many, but not enough....
Yes, just had this yesterday in fact. I dont drive my truck everyday and it was rainy the last couple days here, so the squeak is present when i pull out of my driveway and the first few presses of the pedal, then its gone.
