Well to be honest with you, your posts have been a bit confusing in description as you could use better syntax to get your points across. Its rude to use poor sentence structure which forces the other side to spend extra time deciphering poor grammar. Secondly, maybe you can post better pictures? Please take this as constructive criticism.

Take pictures of your parts boxes. Take your stuff apart and take some pictures. Take pictures of the mating ends. Maybe you mangled things? Get back with us for more info.

So you're 62 but can't figure out how to seat a double flared fitting? Maybe time for another hobby, eh?

Well, you’ve had some pretty good members here chime in that all gave you good advice. Nothing like a complainer and little (you know what) attitude after you received decent enough info for you to figure out your problem you got yourself into.

So, don’t let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya!

    See ya and Merry Christmas!

Good on ya Tazz. You beat me on all fronts.

I just started working on cars last month. I was a hippy child raised as a communist to subvert America. Got discovered at 18 for my sweet looking hands. Had a religious conversion over to the good side and made tons of cash doing Jergens Lotion ‘Unscented’ commercials. Now I’m retired doing volunteer work at Dereks Center for Kids Who Can’t Read and Spell Really Good. First thing we teach them to use is punctuation.

I just learned how to bleed brakes for the first time today. Used DOT 3. Is that the proper fluid? Hope I got it right.

    Some junk
When I redid the hard lines on the front of my truck I picked up some line from the vatozone (not an ethnic joke, it's just fun to say) and they were marked as metric, but they were probably a slightly different thread. I used them just for the blank line and used the old nuts from the factory line.

My flaring tool kinda sucked so I had to tighten, back the nuts off, and retighten them, to get them to seal. Sounds hokey but it worked.

All minor points from my adventure that may help... Maybe. Good luck.

I was imagining the OP as Jason from "the good place" based on writing style.

    But I don't discriminate.

The truth is there is nothing a mechanic will do for this that hasn't already been recommended. Its a simple problem with only two causes.

A: nut is not tight enough

B: Flare is wrong type, damaged, etc.

What does any of this have to do with the topic at hand?

I prefer to let the other ones mind fill in the blanks versus straight up personal attack. If they are smart, then they ‘get me’ right away and lighten up. If they are dumb and take offense, then there is no helping them as they continue down their life long habits.

For me, I try my best to not to hurt myself out there on the runway. Whirled Peas and Merry Christmas to All!

Never been in jail/prison. Been falsely accused of being gay due to my good looking hands. They are sexy in the proper light, too.

I had to sign a binding agreement with Jergens to not tell everyone my secret to better looking hands which at the time of my discovery was daily olive oil use. Thats right!
