The problem is anything engine, suspension or transmission related it is easy to say the lift with bigger wheels put more stress on all the components thus causing failure. If you take them to court and lose, you're out even more. :( And we all know the dealerships are going to deny warranty any chance they get.

But then Again, these companies that have 60k full warranty step in and help you so do what you want to do I guess. I'm doing it

Honestly, the lift would have to be installed seriously wrong in order to be the cause of problems related to the drive train. I have just over 50k miles on my BDS lift and have had zero issues; ask anyone that's seen my truck offroad, or follows my Instagram page, and you'll see that I abuse my truck pretty good.

So been on the phone most of the day with toyota dealers, no go. I also asked how they could sell a brand new truck with an 8" lift with warranty like the one you posted in this thread, they said what usually happens is they can take a factory truck, and send it to a company, DSI I believe, and they do the lift which voids the factory 3/36k factory warranty, but, this DSI then takes over the warranty for that 3/36k. As far as a certified used warranty, there is no one out there that will cover the rig that long with a 6" or bigger lift. No bueno

My 08 chewed through axles with a 6" lift and 35's, now, the factory axles held together fairly well, once the remans went in it was a shitshow. I bet I put 2 in on the driver side, and 5 in on the pass side, one time it broke so bad it busted the inner shaft on the diff, so I replaced that as well.
