Not sure about kings but a full 360 turn on the icons is about 1/4". I did 2 full turns and leveled it out pretty nicely.

I lift in the center of my skid. Theres a support right under that bolts to the cross member. You could just jack right under the LCA

@boardude what is your typical bed weight? Do you have much in the bed on a regular basis? Do you change the weight based on how you’re using the truck (day trip, camping, whatever)?

I need to understand the rxt settings options to see where I need to start once we get them.

I’m terrible with names, are you in the Arizona Tundras Facebook group? I just realized you’re in Tucson. We’re in Gilbert.

I’ll apologize now if we’ve already met five times... I was probably drunk.

Lol no worries I don't think we've met. I am on the AZTG but I don't go on much, FB in general, too much noise. I have seen some of your pics and videos on there :spy::spy::spy:. I'm in phx quite a bit, every week right now for work so trying to get to more meets up there.

I usually don't have any weight in the bed when I'm DDing but that is probably going to change soon. Looking at the BAMF low profile bed rack. I do tow a boat and for lake/camping trips I'll have about 300 - 500 lbs in the bed plus another ~400 lbs in tongue weight. My current setup now handles it pretty well with limited squat so looking to get the same result.

For the rxt options, this is from the install notes:

Option #1: Standard (as shipped) = 30% reduced ride rate from stock. (+1.75” over stock unloaded) - Recommended for constant loads up to 250lbs.
    Option #2: Additional leaf #3 = 20% over standard ICON configuration. (+3.00” over stock unloaded) - Recommended for constant loads from 250-500lbs. (+250lbs = 2.00” lift | +500lbs = 1.35” lift)
Option #3: Standard + Additional leaf = 40% over standard ICON configuration. (+4.00” over stock unloaded) - Recommended for constant loads from 500-750lbs. (+750lbs = 1.50” lift)

I'm going to try option 1 with toytec shackles set at 1". If this doesn't give me the support that I need then I'll go to option 2 with the stock shackles. I have a feeling that 3" in the rear is going to be too high and I don't want a rake. Let the trial and error begin.

Right on - let me know next time you come up to phx. I’m in Gilbert and so are a bunch of other good folks. Happy Hour meetup maybe if you have time.

I wonder how those springs will respond to the longer shackle. I’m interested in your results for sure. And thanks for posting their option descriptions!

Think of it this way, AZ is the sister state of CA but cost of living is a fraction of the cost. Plus I'm in AZ so why is this even a question?!!?

Finding a job would be the first step. Do you have contacts down there that might prove fruitful? If so, i'm gonna take a serious look. If not, i'm still going to take a serious look. You're in Tuscon, right? How far is that from Flagstaff? My son needs a ski hill

We're from CA (Sacramento area) and visit friends and relatives often. All they talk about is how they're going to get from point A to point B in the least amount of traffic, how they're getting taxed out the A$$, and how they can't wait to retire and get the F out of there.

The only thing we miss, even after 20+ years is the water recreation. Other than that, you can have it.

Depends on what line of work you are in... I live in Tucson, work for a firm based out of Columbus, OH, and service clients all across the country. I do have strong ties with the Universities in AZ...

Flagstaff is about ~3 hours north

Even the water rec there was becoming way too crowded no matter where you went by the time I split in 2004.

We have plenty of lakes around. We go to Apache and Roosevelt, a few hours from Tucson, many time throughout the year.. that's right, throughout the year since the weather is sooo nice.

The reason i was thinking CA was to chase the NorCal crew and find me some ski hills....maybe move back to Tahoe was my thought process. But, then again, it's incredibly expensive and the CO mountains have kinda burned me out on the high cost of living thang

NorCal is nice. The further away from SF the better, like way north near Oregon border, east or west.Think Shasta...:thumbsup::thumbsup:
