You're lucky if they fit under all 17s
I would say anything less than -15 offset is going to be close to rubbing the caliper.
I did grind on a set of 13WEs once to try to fit a 15" wheel on a friends Tundra back when he was broke and didnt have good tires or money and i had an extra set of 15s with good tires laying around. Back fit, front hit the caliper so i started grinding like i used to do on Camaro rear calipers when running 15s. I soon found out where the cross over tube is for the outboard pistons..... And then had to buy my buddy a new caliper and ditch the 15" wheels up front idea. The 14WA is definitely larger, i think the OEM rotor for 13WE and 13WL is 319mm and the 14WA use a 338mm rotor. Not only is the rotor almost exactly an inch bigger, the caliper is bigger, longer, and sits up higher away from the spindle. I doubt you can make it fit with 16s even with grinding.

Besides, who runs 16s these days anyway?

Everyone with factory 16” wheels such as the starfish, the chubby 5s and anyone who bought new wheels 20+ years ago for their first gen before larger wheels were a thing. Oh, and me.

Dubs were all the rage in 2005

Dubs or twankies = 20" wheels or larger, for those of y'all that live under a rock. :D:thumbsup:

But do you plan to forever?

Just saying... My five KMC Enduro 16x8 0 offset wheels, wrapped in Cooper AT3XLT 295/75R16's will be coming off once I'm ready to install the Kendas. and 17's. Hopefully by this summer. I might keep em as a backup set, if I have room. But once the 17's and 35's go on, the next mod planned is 14WA. So. They'll be up for sale for sure once the big brake mod happens. BTW all 5 tires have certs and less than 15k miles on em.

Food for thought of any Texans are thinking about bigger tires this summer or fall...

Nope. @KNABORES is holding a set of the 17" split 5 spoke wheels for me until we can meet. I'll probably just do some 255/80/17s on them.

    Really gonna stick with 33's?
If I had a friend like Jake within walking distance, I'd be greasin em to tub my Tundra for 35's or 37's. :D
Maybe bring em a bottle of rye, case of Shiner, and some thick steaks next time.

Trail Teams FTW. I wish I had swapped em from my Taco to the Tundra when I traded it.

Pshhh! I roll my own fenders

I don't think I'd ever put a tire that big on an IFS rig. Might as well go to the 40"+ club, and at that point you're into 1 ton axle/ atlas t case/ full tube chassis territory.

Oh and trailering it to the trails, cuz im not about to waste my sticky meats on the asphalt.

Sequoia axle acquired. $340 and 45 minutes. Not too shabby.

    KIMG20250201_151559607.jpg

This axle is 1 1/2 inches wider than the tundra axle, so I may need some 3/4" spacers to get back to where I'm at now. Me and Jake chatted a little yesterday and I finally got back in line after a lot of stupid think. Me brain do dumb time to time. I kept thinking I would have to use the sequoia diff. No dumb dumb, we're gonna shove my diff in there. *facepalm*

Anywho, the only problems we forsee are the e-brake cable and there's individual brake lines to each caliper all the way to the abs pump. What were thinking is taking the tee off my axle and putting it basically where it is on my axle, and using a single line to the wilwood manual valve.

We looked at the sequoia BB/MC, but it looked funny. Lots of connectors on it. Unless someone says otherwise we're thinking about just cranking the valve open a little more to get more pressure in the rear. If we need it i can go grab it later.

    KIMG20250201_150944147.jpg

Demo will begin the Friday after next, with fab work to follow during the week. @memario1214 is getting me a price on some new, longer rear shocks and the rear prop valve. I love that guy.

I dont remember if the rear sequoia calipers were single piston or dual, but the tundras rear are dual 1” pistons on each side, and the sequoia piston(?s?) are 2”.

Just getting a chance to dig into the technicals of some of this. Looks like the SOS sequoia master is the same unit that we saw today. the sensor ports are just plugged. They indicate that its not required for their disc kit, but it creates a firmer pedal.
    https://sosperformance.com/products...er-installation-kit-fits-rear-disc-conversion

I'll dig more into this and the parking brake stuff over the next few days, and compile the information here for the next guy(s).

Probably sell em. I'm getting the longer 5100s from @memario1214. I believe they're for a 1 ton ford. I don't really need em for weight, just more travel.

It had traction control, but no VSC. Kinda weird. 2 lines fed the ABS pump, the 4 lines to each individual piston.

@JakeJake this may be the beer talking, but what if we grabbed the abs pump as well? Pull the brake lines too and just rerun the rear lines to be just like the sequoia?

They are definitely getting a whole lot more brake data on the tree's.

We don't need the brake booster for that master.

Didn't we JUST swap an OEM tundra booster into your truck, or am I dreaming? Or was it a Master cylinder?
