That looks great, never tired of the so said shenanigans, its inspirational! Also agree could get a hood for every week of the month and swap out. Talk about confusing your neighborhood, hahaha.

 

Haha! I’m dreading the day I have to swap the hood.

 

It's only a few bolts.... you've done way more intensive installs.

 

I just don’t like asking people for help

 

Starting the match on the hood bulge. The body line continues through the bulge, so the top will get the same blue over black treatment.
I wet sanded the bulge, mocked it up, and marked where the soft line is on the hood. Then masked off the bulge with the 5/8” round foam. Black is down, then I’ll do the pearl, unmask, then the clear.

 

First coat of clear after pearl.

 

2nd coat. The practice is definitely showing.

I’m sure this pic looks the same as the others, but I just did the cut and buff. Sanded to 3000 grit, and this is just compound. The second pic is just a reflection picture.

It’s going in the sun today..if my bro gets here early enough.
