Great job. What brand are those wheel flares? Love the low profile but with rugged look. Also will they require OEM mud flaps to be removed?

that looks great. I'm sure you could sell them eventually, or sell your design to a big shop.

so the way it is, it's not permanent right ? if you need the full bed, you can just remove the rack right ? slide it out ?

That is correct. It's weight is on top of the bed rails. Locked into place with T-slot nuts and bolts. I made it so the rack was high enough so I could do house projects and slide lumber under it. Then if I really wanted to I can slide the whole rack off to use the whole bed.

    Edit for more Info:
I really wanted a rack that could hold most of my Offroad gear on the truck when I go camping. Tools/Parts/Oils/Drone/Recovery/Spare tire and also a few Camping Equipment. This is also to Aid in when I pull my Scout II out to go on some Nasty Trails. The Tundra would then become my Scout II's recovery vehicle.

Good question. It's not light but it's not heavy either. If I guessed, maybe 80/100lbs. It's 11GA CRS with tons of Speed holes.

It's a really well thought out piece of work! I'm amazed at how fast we accumulate weight as we do upgrades and mods. I'm pretty conscious of it but not willing to go backwards! Looking good!

I see you are in Montclair, CA. Is that correct? Maybe when I am ready I can pay you to build me a spare tire carrier/setup for my truckbed.

Maybe we can meet up one weekend. Go over some things. I'm testing this rack out now. Already have it disassembled and sent for paint before Sedona run. Going to make some more changes on the rack so that portions of it are interchangeable. That way if someone doesn't want a spare tire, they don't get the spare tire provision. If they don't want the jack mount, then they get a lid instead. Trial and error at the moment. I'd like to make a tent bed rack that is low but also has a rail underneath it to slide Rubbermaids on or Seahorse Containers (like Pelican but 1/2 the price with same quality)

Just test fitted the ROTOPAX's today.

Looks awesome. I love the idea of a small removable Chase type rack.

Well, it's not the finished product but it turned out awesome!!!! I have some changes to make but for now, it works.

    Note:
The jack is temporarily bolted on. Turns out the skid doesn't fit the 2.5 Ton jack bought at last minute. It was designed off a 2Ton jack that looked identical to the 2.5. If you look closely you will see provisions made for the skid to bolt right in with a pin or a Masterlock. The skid will be bolted to the jack and the whole thing hooks into the front and pinned to the back. One and done.

Yes I'll be getting a fatter strap for the Spare. Yes I have a lock for it.

damn you are loaded up !
do you have a pin or something that prevents the rack to shift or slide if going up a steep hill for example ?

I have T slots that go into the rail. 3 on each side. Bolted through the rack and into the rail.
