well.. what was on the haul this last weekend? a lot of good deals that went on.
new bumpers?

 

Front bumper and skid, spindles to gusset, poly LCA bushings, local deal on tires(waiting on bumper, wanna experiment with 37s), and lights for the bumper.

 

Whewwww. That's gonna be a whole new look. The 37s are really making me. I won't be going there for quite a while. Poly LCA bushings will be really cool too.
I look at the parts and it's definitely not a "lights before lockers" type of build.

I really don’t think 37s are going to work, but with the adjustable uppers and a good alignment guy why not try?

what tire you going with??

 

If your cams etc. are torqued correctly, and you use it hard off road, your alignment will get knocked out. Just from my own experience it is the spindles getting very slightly bent. I believe when people see their gusset welds crack, it is actually the spindles bending slightly. Mine are slightly bent without gussets. Just my opinion.

Install yes, welding no, I’m a booger welder at best.

Cooper STT Pros, got to evaluate many tires recently, they seem like the best option. My Toyo RTTs are chunked up bad enough I do not feel comfortable driving on the highway at speed with 4K miles on them.

 

makes sense. it seems like cheap insurance so I may look into that some more. you should be fine if you go with a 12.5...a good alignment with a lot of caster will get you plenty of clearance, especially with an aftermarket bumper. assuming your staying on the 17 inch icons with +25?

Definitely no Corvette, not my style. Aston Martin DB9(used), or with some patience DB11.

Haha man I put that thing on the shelf for now. I was getting too mad at it. Also wasn’t happy with the geometry with that crossmember in there either. Honestly may just hold off for now, only out for the tube and my time haha.

Front bumper

Westin Outlaw bumper and skid plate. For lighting, the original fog lights power OFFROADTOWN SAE fog lights with black bezel screws(thanks @14burrito ), RIGID D Series Midnight edition spot pods, and RIGID E Series 30” flood light bar in the middle. Had to cut the Westin skid around the RCI engine skid to fit.






Tires

35/12.50 R17 BFGoodrich KM3. 37” tires required more work than I wanted to put in at this time.

KM 3s!! FTW. I've been looking/ considering those tires. Interested in your opinion of them. Looks like you got some BIG XLs perched on your ditch brackets, T2S night time program? Looks like you've got all new lights. Always knew you were brighter than me....

 

i see that you dont have the westin pods and and brackets set for fogs they sell for that bumper. did you make your own mounting bracket to get the pods on the bumper?

Yes, wanted SAE/DOT Legal fog lights hooked up to the original fog circuit, and did not want to pay that much for their brackets and cheap pods. Here is a pic, best I can do right now.
