The first time I had freash truffles was 16 years ago in venice and I was hooked. If you've never had truffles it's very hard to try and describe the taste. So once a year I try and get my hands on some. This year I got 4 ounces of fresh black truffles so today will be breakfast, lunch and dinner with a few snacks in between all with truffles as part of the meal.
    Grill cheese with truffles
    Pizza with truffles
    Pasta with truffles
    Popcorn with truffles
    Black truffle ice cream

    Pictures to follow
