Most manufacturers are smart enough to not undercut their network of retailers. What retailer would want to carry your product if you were going to sell it cheaper than they are? You let the retailers sell cheaper than you do because they are going to buy way more stock, and spread your brand far and wide through their network. The only time you don't see this is if a manufacturer doesn't outsource their product and only sells direct. Then the manufacturer doesn't have the added cost of working with the retailers and can offer their product at a lower price point to competition. For examply, go look at a Roofnest Falcon XL RTT and compare it to the iKamper Skycamp 2.0. Very very similar product, but because Roofnest cuts out the middleman they are about a thousand dollars cheaper.

On the topic of Roofnest RTTs, they are having a solid BF sale.

The banner at the top of the page bounces between the BF savings of $300-$400 and one that says you can save more if you have 2 tents shipped to the same location. Could be a great way for people local to each other to get a whopper of discount by coordinating delivery together.

@Squatting Pigeon you know you want one.

I originally got my Method 316s at Tire Rack if I recall. Not the 7 series, but I like them. I'm pretty sure I pad $199/per. I just checked, they are $30 more, but %15 off, so less. I don't know what you are looking for, but thats a fair price for those ones.

If I read that right, you got 704s installed under a grand? That seems pretty great.

Yeah I know. I went ahead and ordered one about a week ago. C4 came on here and made it known they weren’t doing a sale this year to catch up on orders.

    Too many, but not enough....
Rigid is not doing a BF sale, but if you email them asking about a BF sale, they give you a 15% discount code.

Since I've been digging in the roof top tents, I'm familiar with the current deals going on.
    • Someone already mentioned that RoofNest is running a BF sale, but to note, they just released a new Contor series tent. The Condor Overland is the combination of the Condor characteristics with the build of the falcon series. Pretty slick: https://roofnest.com/product/condor-overland/

    • Discovered the Global Road Outdoors "SideKick Series II" which is manufactured by the sister factory of the RoofNest Condor XL. Almost identical tent but significantly cheaper. While the price is not listed on their website, they are offering it for $2695 that includes the tent, shipping, the insulation package, and awning. https://www.globalroadoutdoors.com/product/side-kick-series-ii/

    • No sale from IKamper (not surprising)

Depending on what you’re looking for your best bet might be REI, they carry a few models of dometic, and are running there 20% off one item sale, here’s an example of a model and savings:

I bought the ICECO VL 45 about 6 months ago and love it. There are a couple Youtube reviews you can get discount codes from for ICECO. I think I paid around $430 for it. Got the slide out and cover a month or so ago. All works great so far.

Are you familiar with the quality of MIA tents? There’s some differences between them and the others such as no padding on the inside of the case that acts as the headboard and thinner foam. Just wondering if anyone has real world experience outside YouTube.

Also got my iceco this summer. I bought the TR45. Fits perfectly on a slide in the bed under a tonneau. Fridge was $380 and slide $175. Hard to beat for the price

Roof has what looks to be carpet. I'm going to check one out this weekend or early next week. They are the same company as Waterport, or atleast he's the one that sells them. MIA is in Costco as well, online, you have to pass their standards to make it in with them. I'll check them out and see, they are local in San Diego.
