So been talking to Mike over @Toytec, and for what I want to do he recommends the Bilstein Ultimate Lift Kit. I forgot to ask if the front are the 6112's or are they the 5100's front and rear. Also with this lift kit, is it recommended to replace Uca's or not. Any thoughts, thanks

Have you check out their web page for comparison and other random info? That kit does come with the 5100's. Here is the link for the kit he recommended, which I think everyone would agree is a great kit for you. I would ask the experts at Toytec what they think from their experience. @Sean266 has a similar lift and I believe he bought new UCA's to keep everything in spec. Sean and others here can give better info than myself.

New for Tundra. Doesn't exactly suck. Might want to check with ToyTec.com. ToyTec is an OME distributor:

I have the ultimate kit. Ist a nice kit. No UCAs at the moment with no issues.

At 3" you don't need the UCAs to get in spec with alignment but it is recommended. I got a set of light racing UCAs just haven't had the time to install.

I'm waiting to win a set of SPC's next year at ToyTec's Fan Apprec. Day. You and Sean need to give me heads up how to win the raffle. :gossip:

Thanks Brian, I don't off-road so if I don't need it , then that's good. That's a $500 add on. I'm just going for a nice lift that functions and makes truck look good. I like the kit, it allows you to make any adjustment for height with spanner wrench that's included in kit.

Back to the 6112s, does anybody know the different lift heights for the 4 different settings on the 6112s. I've got the 5100s on my Tacoma and love them, but need to change out the shocks and springs on my 2007 Tundra and would like to lift the front end a bit in the process.

Just got my 6112s and 5160s. Waiting on the upper mounts for the front and need to find someone with the right spring compressor in the Denver area to assemble them. My Toyota mechanic is super busy and I don't want to wait three weeks to get them on the truck. At least I can get the rears done this weekend.

I've got 2" spacers in the front and 1.5" shackles in the back right now. I haul and tow, so need to keep most of the rake. The truck sits pretty good but could be a bit higher in the front. I'm not sure if I should put them on the highest setting or drop down one. 1.9 or 2.5 is what bilstein says but I seem guys saying it's more like 2.3 and 2.75. Anybody who's got them have any thoughts?

I recently put the 6112/5160 package on my truck with the fronts on the second setting and a 2" level kit (blocks $100) in the rear to keep the truck, well, level. On road ride is hugely better, gravel washboard is smooth. I got the shock kit for $915. Had my mechanic do it all and move the brake lines for $500. With my new 275/60 AT Yokohoma G015's the truck sits 3" higher and rides so much better that Toyota should be ashamed of the stock suspension. All of that is only costing me about 0.75 mpg. Ground clearance except at the diff is 14"+.
