Is this because they were done on older higher mileage trucks? I did mine it about one hour from jack up to jack down.

Decided on 5100’s on mid setting, 2 shims each side- 2-1/2” lift in front. 1-1/2” Boss 4x4 shackle in the rear. Got back the rake I wanted. 25B06882-A427-4F53-8584-B07EA2AD2191.jpg

Thanks @BlueRibbon4x4 & @OONIGHTTRAIN. Gorgeous setups!!! I decided to go with top setting with the 5100 kit on our 2019 CM and LT285/70/18 Nitto Exo Grappler AWT's. Will post pics this week, also looking for some great bolt-on mods and still deciding on Tune route to go as I'm in talks with DAP to be their 1st 2019 to tune and hopefully this will come to fruition.
Thanks for everyone who has helped.

Nice @DaBoro54 . How was your power loss and overall feeling compared to stock tires? Did you have to do any bolts ons to increase hp and torque so it felt like factory speed and quickness again?....
Also, what PSI did you run in your nittos in this size?....

I really didn’t feel that much of a difference. So I left it stock. The speedo was spot on too. I ran them at 50 psi. That was personal preference. I would of it all over again for sure.

I'm getting the 5100s installed on my truck right now. I'm going with the top setting. I hope I don't regret it! As long as the alignment can be set to spec and the ride isn't horrendous I'll be happy.

So I did the top setting. Rear is totally stock. Drove the truck around town so the suspension would settle in. Measured with a tape measure when I got home and pulled into the garage. Exactly 39.5" at all four corners of the truck. That's crazy. Couldn't get it more level.

Unfortunately I want a 1" rake for towing so I guess I will go ahead and do a rear lift block.

Ride is MUCH firmer. I would honestly prefer a slightly softer ride but it's not terrible.

Did you end up doing the block lift? I want a little rake as well. Planning to go with the middle setting when the time comes to install.

Well, I ordered what appeared to be the best 1" rear block kit that Amazon sells. That was at the end of January. I still don't have it. Seller is in kalifornia so who knows... I'm trying to get them to send a replacement today actually.

I think the 1" rear block will make it perfect. As time has gone on, I've become VERY happy that I did the top setting on the front 5100s. I feel like the low or middle setting would be a waste of time, because the top setting only gave me 2" and to be honest the truck still doesn't look tall by any means. The ride is firm, but I've noticed that body roll is almost totally gone and that makes curves and left hand turns across rough pavement much nicer. I like it!

I did middle setting which looks good but the ride is fairly stiff. I was fine with the ride especially since it got rid of the nose dive stopping and leaning in the corners but now I have bed bounce. I may have had bed bounce before and it just wasn't noticeable but I fully feel and see it now. Getting CoachBuilder shackles put on next Monday to hopefully help smooth that out and get a little rake back. I'd go ahead and do the shackles myself but I don't have a good enough jack, stands or a press. Crossing my fingers.

I'm debating on the 5100s at top setting vs 5100s w/ OME 612 coils at the bottom setting. Anyone running the 5100/612 combo and can vouch for the ride?

I did mine on middle setting, and love it!!! Way better ride, and seems pretty level make sure you get an alignment done after. 7F3C8B40-69B1-4524-B159-403692E06E23.jpg

So I joined this forum purely to post on this. I have a 15 1794 and was on the edge of buying a new truck. Then sticker shock and availability, made me turn to this forum about ride and tire wear. I bought 275/60/20 for my stock 1794. And tires wore uneven after several alignments and always felt clumsy. I just put on 5100 (top setting) front and back and it drives and corners incredibly better. It has the tasteful lift look and makes me want to go take it for joy rides again.
