After looking for bike mounts that work with the track system for a bit, I found a couple of options. One was $65 each, the other, from Toyota was $95 each. These are the brackets that the front forks attach to, after removing the front wheel.
I found some “universal” brackets on EBay for $20 for a pair. I cut, drilled, and tapped some 1/4”x1”x1 1/2” stainless, added some stainless bolts, and they work perfectly!

Cool. Way less than I spent. I got the Rocky Mounts that work with a track system. They do lock so I guess that’s part of the extra cost. I installed some leftover unistrut on top of my diamondback cover and they work great.

I did the same thing on my Titan, except I modified one of the cleats so it was removable. For the Tundra I went with a Rockymount because I need it to lock.

I have a diamondback cover on my F-150...I have the same exact mountain bike as well, strangely enough. Trek XCaliber and also a Trek cyclocross (crossrip). I'm looking to do this same exact kind of setup with a fork block.

How did you go about mounting the unistrut on top of your cover?

It’s not the kind of rack your talking about but this one is nice. It sits up nice and high for wheeling 6F5FAC3A-5CAF-4F6A-BF33-CC7A28A77242.jpg

Pics below. I painted the unistrut and washers with Bed liner spray from Home Depot. To block any water I used 3m Moisture sealing electrical tape on both sides (between the unistrut and the cover and between the underside washer and the cover. BTW.... I use that tape as a cheap chainstay protector on the bike as well. I do also use a strap to keep the bikes from sliding around when turning corners. They’d probably be fine without but seems like a good idea absent a rear tire tray.
