With respect, I humbly disagree. I can go into a very long discussion about prayer and what it is, what it isn't, but I won't do that here. I think the notion that we as humans should be able to understand God's will and his plan is at best a tad presumptuous. I'm not trying to belittle anyone or their beliefs.

We can use biology and chemistry and physics to explain why a fart sometimes smells, sometimes makes noise, and sometimes doesn't. But there is absolutely no science or human understanding as to why a fart makes us laugh. Therefore, God.

Contrary to popular belief, I am not in control of them. (Far from it.) I have a mutual support and defense pact with them.
Without going into detail about how this pact came to be, I will say there are several guidelines and restrictions placed on both parties. One of those is that neither of us can take photos of the other (much less share them) without written consent.
