@Casper421 how do you like the Odyssey 34R-PC1500 battery?

    Has it held up well?

GREAT build! Spent a little time reading the forum this morning and I think I'm going to order some 12 hole injectors and keep my FGT for a little longer, partially thanks to this thread.

3 years and still going very strong! Odyssey is definite worth the money. Numerous weekend trips powering the fridge and tons of lights with no issue.

You’ll be happy with the 12 holes! Slight change in shift points which definitely helps move larger tires. Run her till she dies, then rebuild!

Welded up the Coastal Off-road front bumper in the spring. Very impressed with the powdercoat! Put two sets of Baja Designs squadrons, fog and spot, and a Smittbilt X20 12k with synthetic line.

A few pics during the welding process and then the finished product:

@Casper421 I was going through the first page and saw that you have DD 12 hole 270cc fuel injectors. How do you like them? I've been eye ballin' them for sometime.

After waiting for the rain/snow to stop this morning, I removed half the front suspension that’s gonna be rebuilt. I’ll remove the passenger side and rear shocks tomorrow.

Coil overs, shocks and uca’s are off and ready to be rebuilt. Once they’re reinstalled I’ll just about max out the co’s and get an alignment. Then I’ll test fit again and really cut some metal.

After removing the rest of the suspension I worked on a mount for the Arb twin compressor. Just need to paint it and then wire/plumb everything up.

The shop that is rebuilding the coil overs and shocks will most likely do the firewall tub. Plan is to reinstall suspension, crank up the Co’s, get an alignment with max caster and then tub the firewall.

Coilovers and shocks are rebuilt, rebuilding the TC uca’s, waiting on oem lbj’s and Solo lca’s. Also cut a bunch from the fenders. I have confidence 35’s will fit.

Ended up returning the SDHQ 2nd/2.5 gen windshield fluid bottle and went in a different route. Sacrificed a semi new Nalgene today. I’ll post pics when I finish tomorrow.

Been about a year without a washer fluid bottle. Gf wants it so she can take better pics on the trip. Nothing wanted to fit except for a Nalgene. Only problem is, 34oz doesn’t last long!

Slick - is that a push to fit connector on the other end of that quick connect?

A little update since T2S…as you have all guessed, 35’s don’t fit unless you have a 6” lift or a tubbed firewall. If you say otherwise, you’re full of shit and I want what you’re smoking!
7BCCD8AC-EADA-42B5-985E-A24935A15DE5.jpg After 17 hours of suspension install and alignment, my dumbass forgot to attach the brake line bracket back to the spindle. After 800+ highway miles, 7 miles on dirt and two big washouts, the hardline snapped at the caliper fitting. Thankfully it happened on a flat forest road while I was with @des2mtn.
    021DCE5E-4AD9-446E-AECC-0FA2CD344BBB.jpg
We were able to safely limp it to a camp spot for the night with no brakes. Spent an entire day trying hardlines from Oriellys and even a new oem line from Toyota of Flagstaff with nothing but brake fluid down both of our arms.
    C9C2A4E2-2FA2-4607-8432-3071279730EE.jpg
The only fitting that would fit in the caliper was the one from the snapped line and no shop would reflare the line without the truck there!! So, Judy got her first flatbed ride of her life with me. Sad day to say the least!

After wasting a night in a hotel room she was fixed and ready to finally get to T2S. It was awesome meeting @FrenchToasty and his fam! Thanks to Mo and Brent, the mod fund has to grow larger for rear discs and a CO rear bumper!

Judy wasn’t close to being 100% and I was hesitant to wheel her like I’m used to with the old 34’s. I’ve got a lot more work to do but I will make these 35’s fit! There’s no going back to 285/75’s after seeing these yokos on there! Here are a few pics from the trip:

I’m good and Judy is okay. We spent a few days in the eastern sierras unwinding at some hot springs on the way back. Then right back to busy life as usual. Pissed I wasn’t still in AZ when Brent busted his cv. I owe him after this trip for sure! Also looking forward to next T2S!

Thanks for the update! I hope you get Judy ready in time for September. I was baffled by your brake line but now I understand. You probably saved me, when I heard about it I ordered some new lines. Driver side original line twisted in two when I was changing it.
