Ive had my ko2s for about 35k now and ive given up on them being balanced right i always end up with a vibration at 60-65 mph. They have however, worn really well. I prob have a good 10-15k more miles before they will need replaced. I will be replacing them with either nitto ridge grapplers or Toyo At2 extremes. I dont think ill buy bfgs again

I have been extremely happy with my KO2s and I beat the sht out of them. They are extremely durable and I've never had a balancing issue. 35x12.5x17s

I don't recommend the Toyo Open Country AT2s because I have the same balance issue with them on my 4runner. Between 55-65, they shake. I have had them rebalanced so many times, and never any better. I have decided to not rotate them any more to cause them to wear faster so I can just replace them. I have no idea what to try next though. And another note on the Open Country, they have a tendency to slide when you go on a curved exit/entrance ramp faster than 30 and they hydroplane terribly.

So far fingers crossed, good luck with my Ko2's - they will be going onto my next Tundra as well and the wifes 4Runner has them w/o issue.

I had similar issues with KO2s (305/65R18) I got from 4 Wheel Parts. Excessive vibration that normal balancing couldn't fix. I too had toyota "road force" balance them and they discovered the tires out of round. I had them take pics of the machine and brought all that paperwork to 4 Wheel Parts. Since I bought their warranty they replaced them.

The tech at toyota said that he thinks it is related to how the tires are stored but who knows.

I am very happy with the KO2's I just had installed a few weeks ago (285/65-18). They ride better than I expected and are quiet. Just did a 200+ mile trip this past weekend doing 70-80 and the truck was very smooth. Hopefully they stay that way.

Not so good for my 285/55R20, all 4 are bad. Ride good, nice wear but they won’t stay balanced. Had to be balanced twice the first week I got them, rotated them at 5200 miles, balanced them twice and they won’t stay in balance. Local Toyota dealership is so mad, they’re trying get them replaced under warranty. Guess I may need to make another choice, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Has ko2s as well did not care for them at all. I now have toyo at2 extreme and I love them great tire, I have seen numerous tundra owners get 60k miles out of them

    KO2s suck

Tried them and after 10 within a couple months - I gave up. Garbage mfg with a brand that relies too much on heritage vs a quality product (IMO).
