Hello all, looking to get some advice on tail lights for my 2014 white Tundra. I recently just got 2019 headlights with a blacked-out housing in the LED strip DRL. With that being said I'm looking for some tail lights complement the white and black theme on the truck but definitely nothing riced out. Obviously LED is there a requirement and black housing or something along those lines. Like I said nothing to outlandish or crazy I've been looking at some of the spider tails local for $210 but wanted to get y'all's advice. Thanks

Stay away from Winjets. QC has gone downhill. I like them but too many issues. Do a search and you will see.

I had Spyders on mine and wasn't crazy about them. Always seemed to have condensation under the lens. Went with red smoked Recons and love em. They make black smoked as well, which I always thought looked great on white Tundras. They will set you back $450-$500 though.

Okay then I think I'll pass on the spiders, I'm not too crazy about their design anyways there's just seems to be a lot going on. I'll check out the recons and I'm willing to pay for a quality product that don't have any issues.

That's a good point, I do like OEM. Maybe I'll get a local shop around here to open up my OEM tails and blackout the housings then just go LED bulbs in them.

Also I think I'm going to scoop up some rigid industries midnight edition d-series Pro's and swap out my fog lights for them on the stock bumper. I was torn between rigid and Baja but I think I'm going to go with rigid. I'm also a little torn with what brand headlight LED bulbs I should go with.

Look at Diode Dynamics SS3 for fogs, half the price of Baja and are awesome!

Looks they're about $200 give or take. That's what i am able to get the Rigid Industries midnight edition D-series Pro's for. Actually the guy has the flush mount and surface mount versions...which one do yall think would fit best in a 2014 Tundra TSS stock front bumper foglight area?

I'm about to scoop up the fog lights, the rigid industries midnight d-series Pro and the guy has 1 with the surface mount and the other one with the flush mount. If I'm putting them on my stock bumper fog light location which one do you guys recommend?

That's what's I'm thinking too...just use a Dremel to cut a little off of the stock plastic that surrounds the OEM fog light and then drill a couple holes to secure.

So the rigids are square right? Don’t they have a replacement plastic insert that goes from round to square? Maybe I’m not on the same page but if you check out @Romans ultimate parts thread he has the Rigid fogs on there with the right brackets I think.

Sir, you are correct... they make a foglight bracket that makes it look great but only for select models. I don't believe it will work for these. I'm thinking I might just pass on the lights, $200 isn't a crazy good deal... basically saving $10-$30. Still on the fence because of how good they look lol

Wow, not bad at all...I wouldn't want that dark of a tint but they look great, you switch to LEDs?

I did not switch to led’s yet. Also there are several different shades to choose from. I have a lighter smoke on my other car.

That looks really nice with the Cavalry Blue. Would you mind sharing what tint you used and how difficult it was? Do you have any pics with them lit up? Did you go LED on the bulbs, or stay factory?

I did not change the bulbs to LED. The visibility changed very little because it’s not a very dark tint. I don’t have any pics with them lit up at the moment, I will try to get some and post them later. I purchased them from eBay, already tinted...

LED fogs are a huge upgrade, mine practically outshine my headlights in the morning. They are worth the $200, of course now it exposes the weak OEM headlights.
