Thanks for the feedback! Do you know if you can keep the stock leafs and if it will be level then or less rake than with the Dakar leafs? thanks,

I think you'd have to consult with ARB on that one. I installed my fronts first, which practically leveled the truck, if not made the front slightly higher. I installed the rear shocks+leafs later, and all at once so can't say what the shocks would do by themselves. I would estimate it would be damn close to a leveling kit "look" with that, but also imagine that the shocks+leafs are designed as a system, and you would not be getting the full benefit of the lift if you don't have all the tuned components installed.

King and foxes can be rebuilt and last you the life of the truck. Bilsteins will need to be completely replaced with every seal leak or bent bar.

I’ve seen plenty of people go from Icon to King but not the other way around :anonymous:

I had 2 sets of Icons on my 4Runner. One was 2.5 RR bolt ons the other was LT coilovers and omega bypasses. Both of them squeakier than a crate of hungry mice.

If you want to be emasculated then give Icon a call. They will gladly talk to you like you’re 6 years old.

Screw it I just ordered a new stereo instead. At least I know I can install that myself without breaking down in the middle of the highway

I don’t think that would be caused by the particular brand you purchase.
Most stay on, some just work better than others.

Yea I wasn’t saying a brand would cause the shock to fall off, more likely the installer (me)
