    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
+1 for DD 8". All the growl and fun you want (especially with the nannies off and in sequential mode), and no hwy drone.

Just call Keith @dirtydeeds and he'll get you taken care of.

The rasp picked up in the video doesn’t exist in real life. I don’t know why it’s picked up like that

I know it’s not very symmetrical. But thT doesn’t change the way thAt it flows. Just funny looking if you’re expecting it to be even.
That is the absolute ‘most muffler’ we can fit in that space. That was the goal and that’s all that mattered.

our mufflers don’t cost power. They’re simply there to tune sound.

I have a corsa now as well after the dd budget and I get what he’s saying. It’s a purr with city driving, but anything over 2.5k rpm it opens up. It’s definitely a unique sound that no other company really sounds like.

Yeah the video doesn’t do it justice. It sounds much deeper in person.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but the Dirty Deeds exhaust seems wildly expensive to basically replace the muffler.

    What makes it so great?

They are designed and performance tuned to these trucks. I can tell you that there is a difference. I had a Flowmaster before, and now a DD system. The DD system is hands-down a better setup. The FM is a noisemaker compared to a DD system. Call Keith @dirtydeeds and he will help you out and explain his extensive testing on the Tundras.

I can admit I’d like to hear the 12” option. Still, an expensive muffler replacement.

I have the 12" standard system. This isn't my video, but as good a representation as you'll hear online. I'm very happy with the 12". I've had stock, TRD duals and 8" BAM. 12 is my favorite. Really nice tone without a big increase in volume.

Part of the beauty of the DD systems are that they bolt right in. Easy dyi in the driveway for a great sound w no highway drone. It takes about 45 minutes to swap out and is completely reversible if you don’t like it.

    Agreed.

Plus, he has a sound guarantee so as long as you pay shipping, he will build you another system (louder or quieter) at no additional charge.
Also, you'll have no problem recouping a good chunk of your initial outlay if you get tired of it and decide to sell used on this site.

Corsa system all the way, the TRD system is nice too. I have had them both and DD system, for me the DD system didn't hold up, took it off after a month. Here's a cold start.

I liked the TRD when accelerating, but couldn't get used to the choppy helicopter sound at light throttle/low rpms. Plus the pipes would start rusting the moment salt/brine touched them.
Never heard corsa in person - but they always sounded too raspy to me in video. Does it sound different/deeper in person?

Its very deep on a cold start, sounds very good when hitting on the highway, no drone at all.

I'm running a Borla XS Pro. Single muffler with dual ins and outs. The piping is just what the exhaust stop did. It has a nice smooth rumble. Aggressive, but not overbearing. I've had lots of compliments. It was fairly tame at first, then has gradually opened up over the past 18 months. I like it a lot. Total cost, including install and some black 18" tips was under $350.

I only ever found one video of it and it doesn't sound anywhere near as throaty as mine. Pipes matter. Tips matter, etc.
