it's easy, just a bit of wire management to do since you need to power the meter and then the fan or relay. Its a bit big, so finding a nice spot for it within view might be an issue, which is why I hid it behind tinted lexan in my Silverado. It worked great though...never gave me any issues and helped cool my hot as hell amp.

Nice hell yeah, I’ve got an accessory fuse panel for my heated seats that I added in my center console and it’s got a couple open slots so if worse comes to worst I’ve got a pretty easy means of getting power for it and fans.

I’ve got an SMSL DAC for using my phone as digital coax into my amps and that thing will be permanently installed in my center console and I could probably mount the fan controller in there too.

~1/4” HDPE with rubber feet on the underside of the fuse panel with a hole drilled in the bottom of the center console at front and back to pass wires through, and then another piece of hdpe on top to sandwich the fuse panel in. Loses maybe 1.5-2” of depth in the center console which was totally fine by me.

I had everything tucked under my amp rack...having a central location like in your pics is perfect for situations like these. Clean install!

Thanks man, it was kind of a pain in the ass but now that it’s in I’m glad to have it and it’s just 4 phillips screws to take the cover off and access it.

Thats a nice setup, to bad i already got this going or i would think about something like that for crossovers or amp distribution blocks.20241127_194641.jpg 20250117_153018.jpg 20241125_175900.jpg

Nice that’s equally as sweet! I had a JL6w3 in the center console of my last truck (F-150) and those little subs get down!

Oh damn nice! I thought it was a little 6.5” or 8” sub, I’ve always been curious about pro speakers since they’re so high efficiency, might have to replace my boat speakers with some.

It really fills out the sound in the cab, kinda centralized it for me. I believe they are ipsomthing certified for water. Not too bassy but definitely loud.

Its not subs but I bought this from @snivilous to mount my bass knobs. He lists it on his website as a guage box/pannel but he made it and didn't cut the hole for the guage. I drilled the holes for the knobs to mount. Makes a clean install i think

How many bass knobs does a fella need??? Have I been doing it wrong all these years, with just one knob?

    Mount looks great though!

I have a sub amp for the 2 12s under the rear seat, another amp for the 2 12s behind the rear seat20250414_121014.jpgthis is without the seats installed obviously. 2 different power ratings on the subs so I matched the amps as close as I could to each box of subs instead of running them all together and underpowering 1 set or chance over powering the other set.

Sorry I quoted the wrong one:pout:

Probably a better way to do it I'm sure but this is what happens when a rookie enthusiast decides to do things on their own:rofl:

It was cut out in one piece, I just had to bend it into place and could have done a better job myself at filling in the gaps at the bends but all i did was fill the gaps with some clear silacone and painted over it. Its not on the guy that made the piece thats on me.

Only having one of those DD SL612 subs in my truck, ported with 800w, I can only imagine the amount of output you must have with your setup! Yeeesh!

Mine are in a sealed setup and it does cause the mirrors to vibrate a little . Running them off and Audiocontrol epic 2000 at 2ohm which should be about 1400 rms theoretically 700ish a piece. Im not a professional tuner but I think I have it dialed in pretty good. Kind of hard to really dial it in when you listen to rap one day, death metal another, then throw in some classic rock and 90s country but im happy where ive got it. I need to sit down with a meter and see roughly what im putting out of the amp but I tend to get lazy:rofl:

I've got an epic 1500 pushing dual 10" Hertz...awesome little amps. Get an epicenter so you can add back the bass when needed.

Funny you say that.... I just got one a month or 2 ago. Still in the learning curve with it but it made a world of difference listing to Clapton, The Doors and such styles of music.
