If it's in your budget, I would say to certainly go ahead with the new shocks/coilovers. Also depends what you use your truck for. If the truck is a street queen you should be fine with one of the spacers. If you take the truck offroad at all or want the "best option", then I would certainly go with the new shocks.

The front 5100's normally provide about 2.5" on the top setting but will see just a touch more with your truck being 2wd. ( Maybe 2.625"-2.75" ) and if you add 2 shims on the driver side and 1 on the passenger side you'll see about 3.25" of total lift up front. You will def want to add some lift to the rear, if not your traction control will go into panic mode when accelerating, cornering or braking. We normally use our +3" (1.75") I'll attach a pic with 3" up front and 1.75" in the rear.

5100s all around. Set to max up front with 2 CB spacers on drivers side and 1 CB spacer on Passenger. Rear has a 1" lift with shackles. 295/70/18 Toyo Open Country AT2, I needed to cut some of the plastics up front for clearance but nothing major. Any questions, let me know! I love the look! ^^^ Dez at NexGen hooked me up with this setup last week, Thanks again Dez!

I would prefer not to discuss the pricing that I was given, but feel free to contact Dez at NexGen Off-road in Murietta. :-D

Installed 5100 top setting and the shop is saying they are having issues aligning it because of the stock UCA's. Anyone have issues? I planned on upgrading anyways but for the time being I was hoping to get by.

I haven't heard of anyone having install issues with only 5100s. Typically alignments get tricky going above 3".

I just did a 3 inch front lift, 5100 set at top setting with a 1/4" spacer on 295/70/18 and the shop made no mention of it not aligning properly, I didn't have an issue with the stock UCAs.

Thanks, I figured. They were really pushing UCA's. Probably to get more $$$

What's up dude, I have my 5100's on top setting and an AAL in the rear. With stock UCA's I couldn't get my alignment in spec. I got the Camburg Balljoint UCA's and it fixed it right up.
