Looking to have ADS coil overs built for my truck. Does anyone have recommendations of shops that can give good customer service with a great price?

I've called a lot of those shops on that list, some shops said they don't carry them and others have said that they'll call me back and haven't yet so far. The best price I've been given so far isn't on the ADS website. Just trying to see what else is out there before I order.

Good thing you are doing your homework. ADS shocks are very good quality, but there is a reason I have 2.5 King COS on all four counters of my Jeep. I'll leave it at that...

I think a vendor just had a group buy on ADS shocks. It is probably over by now. I would go with Matt. Price differences among other vendors are going to be negligible. Most of the time customers want to pay a price that is unrealistic.

Maybe you should. I was getting tech support from King Shocks during the King of the Hammers race.
I could hear the racing in the background and them working on something while catering to my needs fully knowing I was in CO.
Maybe check out toytec new line of shocks. I can't ever remember someone complaining about them and certainly never about the customer service.

What he said. I ordered all my stuff from MCM. When I had my Tacoma I also used MCM. Matt is a good dude very knowledgeable in our trucks suspension.

Yes the group buy is closed. If I can save a buck then why not? So far the best price is close to a $100 difference; possibly better than that, just waiting on an email to the shop that will be doing the work but has been closed the last few days.

Sounds like good customer service which is nice. Isn't the big name shock companies more abusable than Toytec? The reason I planned on going with ADS over King is price, I've read that its a better finish and the parts are better quality. The ADS site says that the bolt on shocks are built with the same parts as the race series.

I have no experience with ToyTec and off-road abuse. Depends on what you want to do. I have seen just on here the stellar customer service that they offer.

ADS shocks are bad ass. Can't say anything about that. If I have to ever replace my CO shocks on the Jeep due to a major failure, I will go ADS, and it would be easier to match color schemes as well. My rear springs do all right, but my King blue ones up front stick out like a sore thumb.

King has great customer support and bends over backwards for the customer. I'm just giving you my experiences.

I appreciate your input. Reason I didn't consider ToyTec is that other members have said that they're not on the same level as the other brands mentioned. These Bilstein 5100's I'm currently running is really limiting what I'm doing and is the reason for the upgrade. If I ever need customer service, I hope its there.

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to suspension and after I ordered my Kings I had a few questions before install. They were super helpful and informative even though my questions were probably things they've gone over a million times and told me not to hesitate to contact them with any concerns or questions.

Over landing and riding the Oregon dunes. Need momentum to make it up a lot of the steep soft sand dunes and I don't like going over whoops on the trails at 10 mph. Hauling ass towards the dune is whats needed to make it up some of the hills and when there's whoops at the bottom, it can hurt. Got stuck today where I could't make it all the way up a dune and backing up resulted in a steep hill on the side that could've gave body damage, luckily at the top of the hill was a Tacoma that I was able to use a winch anchor.

If that what you gonna do with your truck check out @TRON build page I think he has the video of him hucking his truck at the dunes. He runs ADS 3.0 with MCM uca's stock leafs I believe. That should let you know what to expect with ADS.:)

^^^ nice build page. Now i have a question. What's the benefit of going with 3.0 vs 2.5? Would bypass shocks up front be needed at all?

MCM. Matt is the man! I would call and talk to him. Let him know what you plan to do with the truck and he'll get you setup.

With 3.0 i would say no that should be overkill with mid travel set up.
