Rough country DIY pre runner bumper, just have to fit and weld it yourself. 3/16 steel, 7/8 shackle/recovery holes in the front. Can accept winch, light bar, and some really bright fog lights from diode dynamics. Only cost $400 plus coating20201217_151723.jpg 20210215_102303.jpg

I'll have to look into that. Its one of my favorite bumper designs but the price is normally sky high.

I emailed Vy Tran from Demello. They're offering 10% off in their bumpers.

I’m not sure how they hold up but I think the c4 overland series has the best looking bumper. I have one I haven’t put on yet.

That looks really beefy on the backside. It's a little different than what they show on their site though. Do you know if they've changed to one or the other type of reinforcement?
Other questions based on lack of info on website https://www.demello-offroad.com/tundra-front-winch-bumper-2014-2019-baja-hoop :
    1. Do you know what type/grade of steel it is made out of?
    2. Is any trimming, cutting, or other modifications (besides the splash guards in the wheel wells) required to mount the bumper?
    3. Would an after market skid plate (RCI) or TRD skid plate work with this bumper?

I'm just curious. I don't think a bumper is in my future.

The tundra bumpers are just like the cad drawing you posted up
    upload_2021-5-9_23-2-27.jpg
    upload_2021-5-9_23-2-59.jpg
Those are the only pictures I have of mine.
The picture I posted was an fjc bumper I believe, I posted it just as an example of what there work typically looks like. Sorry if that was misleading that was not my intention, I probably should have elaborated a bit.
    To answer your questions...
    1. I’m not 100% sure what grade steel DO uses for there bumper construction. I was told but I honestly forget. Maybe Erick knows? @state48overland
2.no trimming other then removing your stock bumper and crash bar, Not even in the wheel well because the splash guards are attached to the lower bumper
    3. My trd skid bolted right up with no issues, can’t really speak on any others but I’d imagine they would work as well?

    Hope that helps

Very helpful and informative! Thank you.

I didn't think you were being misleading or anything. I really am just curious. Apologies if you felt like I was calling you out. Communication through text isn't always clear.

You can definitely see where the cost comes in on the DO.

    Too many, but not enough....
Ironman 4x4 Raid Series bumper. I absolutely love mine. Its very affordable compared to the other brands and comes with lights if you want them, it has crumple zones, certified for airbags, passes aussie government requirements, its light, easy to install, has recovery points, comes with a license plate bracket and an integrated winch spot and will work with sensors if you have them. The quality on it is awesome as well.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that I’ve probably thrashed on this bumper more than anyone else has in their Tundra. The rigidity is remarkable. I’ve slid down on it from a 5’ waterfall, dropped onto it from all sorts of ledges, and I love that my permanently mounted shackles hanging on the D rings have actually protected the bumper from head on boulder/ledge approaches. My previous 3/16th plate bumpers were so beat up they looked like it was making a smiley face by the time I replaced it with the Demello.

    Too many mods to come
Totally subjective and dependent on use case. Mines an SS built with valence. The old mans is an ADD stealth fighter with winch.

Buy at truckbrigade.com. They're shipping is $250 vs the $450 from CBI and you can get 5% off as well. I just received my CBI classic bumper in 6 weeks from order as well.

CBI bumper here. Just installed and looks great. I had to modify the RCI skid to make it work but otherwise perfect install.
